  8. Re: Mexico Race [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] How do you figure? [/ QUOTE ] Exactly. Montoya is one of the best in the world. Coming from F1, all they do is road race. Pruett has reason to be upset. But, he wrecked someone earlier in the race, so he should be too fired up. He wouldn't have won anyway, maybe 3rd at best. He could have gave Montoya a little more room, he knew that move was coming. 14. Re: west Texas info Tim, I did a little searching and from what I could find Gator is correct, NOTHING!!!!!! Crane is the only town in Crane County, if that tells you anything. Here is a little about the history of Crane. CRANE, TEXAS. Crane, on U.S. Highway 385 and State Highway 329 in eastern Crane County, was named for Baylor University president William C. Crane.qv It is the seat and only town of the county and has the county's only post office, which was founded in 1908. The discovery of oil in the county in 1926 led to the county's organization the next year and to Crane's development as an oil boomtown. O. C. Kinnison opened a realty office and platted a townsite, naming the streets for his daughters and sons. Early residents had to put up with board sidewalks, unpaved roads, and limited services-including hauling their own water-until permanent housing and city utilities were built. Schools and other amenities were established at Crane as the local oil resources were exploited. Crane's population was reported as 1,420 in 1940, as 2,156 in 1950, as 3,796 in 1960, as 3,427 in 1970, and as 3,622 in 1980, when the town had a library, a swimming pool, and some 104 businesses. These included a steel foundry, a concrete plant, a nursing home, and a hospital (that was enlarged in 1962). A special edition of the Crane News in 1972 celebrated the county's production of one billion barrels of oil. In the 1980s the town was the service center for the region's flourishing oil industry. In 1990 the population of Crane was reported as 3,533. In 2000 the community contained 156 businesses and 3,191 inhabitants.

  16. Re: How far is to far ? If you are going to be taking 700 yard shots, you need to trade in that SCOPE gun and get you an OTPG gun that will shoot something like what is pictured in the middle below: Seriously, very few people have the ability to shoot 700 yards accurately. If the longest shot you have taken is 45 yards, you need to find a range and start praticing. Start at a 100 yards then move out to 200 and when you are consistent there move out further. If you have the ability to do it, you will have to burn a lot of powder praticing. Good luck.
  17. Re: lets see pics of 4-wheelers [ QUOTE ] Are those "boom-boxes" on the front of the 4-wheelers?? YES, got to have our tunes What does the snorkel look like? Usually it will be a piece of PVC or flexible hose about 1.5" or 2" diameter and it will come through the front plastic/rack to raise the level of the air intake so you can go through deeper water. On the ones pictured above, we have ran the snorkles into the headlight pod, just to give them a cleaner look [/ QUOTE ]
  18. Re: lets see pics of 4-wheelers Yes they are snorkled and we can go through water about 5' deep, but, in all honesty, it is hard on the machines, a lot of maintanence is required. The way we ride, it is not a cheap hobby. Click on the "my pics" link below for a few more pics.

    Bus Crash

ATLANTA -- A charter bus tumbled off the Northside Drive overpass onto I-75 southbound, shutting down the Interstate in both directions. There are reports of at least six fatalities. The bus was carrying the Bluffton University baseball team from Bluffton, Ohio, heading to Florida. There were so many people injured officials used a MARTA bus to transport them to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment. The bus fell about 20 feet from Northside Drive and is blocking all southbound lanes. Northbound lanes were shut down to allow emergency crews to get to the scene. Officials have shut down I-75 southbound at I-285.

  21. I have a Panasonic Model DMC-LZ3 digital camera that also takes movies. (no sound tho) After downloading a number of smaller clips to my computer, I tried using Windows Movie Maker to combine them into one movie and then add music to it. When I go to bring the short clips into MM, I get this: The file C:\pictures\ATV\muddy gras 2007\P1000521.MOV is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker. I think the problem is the .MOV. I know there is software that will convert it to an acceptable format, but is there anyway to download the movie in the correct format to start with? And any suggestions on the conversion software? Thanks
