  2. Re: Question of Character? I am going to have to disagree with the majority here. It is not your land, therefore I don't believe you have the right to take the stands. The landowner would. Now I do agree with the others here, if you value your camera, your probably ought to get it out of there.
  3. Re: GPS systems LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It sure wasn't Texas made, cuss we don't want no Okie's here Heck we just got rid of one, don't want no more.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Re: Martinsville Couldn't help but notice that, also. Of course the great tv coverage failed to mention anything about it, unless I fell asleep during that portion of it. Before long, there won't be anybody watching or caring about it.
  5. Re: Appropriate High Fence Thread!!!! [ QUOTE ] I've answered the question about the size of the land!!! I do not think it is ethical to kill an animal inside an encloseure, no matter what size. That's just me. [/ QUOTE ] Question for you Rossman, If we put the fence up along the border with Mexico that is being discussed, and a few years later decide to put one up on the border with Canada, that will in effect make the whole USA an enclosed area with either high fence or ocean. Will you quit hunting if that happens?
  6. Re: FORUM TROUBLES and QUIRKS Those 2 are the only ones I have seen, also. Seriously, I haven't had or noticed any problems today.
  7. Re: Appropriate High Fence Thread!!!! OK guys, (no one in particular) Rossman is getting jumped on pretty hard here, just remember, he is entitled to his opinion, also. We can agree to disagree. Keep it civil and no personal attacks.

  9. Thursday afternoon we started our hunt outside of Mason, Texas. We were in the ranch truck (1 ton dually) trying to locate the game to put a stalk on them, when he ended up getting stuck. We then proceeded on foot for about 2 hours before we circled back around to where I had left my truck. So we hopped in mine, to go get his unstuck, and when we were about 100 yards from his the road (read path) I was on just gave away and I was stuck. The guide called a friend who came out in a 4 wheel drive toyota, and they were able to get the dually out, then they both hooked up to me and tried but couldn't move me. They then went to town and got another 4 wheel drive toyota, they couldn't move me forwards, but when we tried going backwards, it popped on out. The damage from this is as follows, brush guard on new toyota, receiver hitch on new toyota, front tranny seal on dually, bumper cover on my truck (which I was able to re-attached after washing) On to the hunt, about 30 minutes after the above fiasco, we located a 4 horned ram that my son liked and were able to get close enough to it for him to make the shot. I have a few pics below. Hopefully I will be able to put a video of the shot up. Not sure if it will work or not.
  10. Re: College Player of the year.... And it sounds like he may be coming back next year. HOOK'EM HORNS
  11. Re: Yao Ming [ QUOTE ] I'm not a Yao fan either, but you can't argue with the guys numbers... 24 ppg, 2 blkpg, 9 rbpg, and he shoots over 50 percent from the field and 85 percent from the stripe (almost unheard of for a guy his height). That's why he's an All-Star. Maybe you were watching someone else? [/ QUOTE ] For the last four minutes of the game that was out of reach, every trip down the floor the rockets fed the ball in to Yao so he could try to score. If that is the way he keeps his ppg average up, who is fooling who. The "stars" should not of even been in the game, Tracy McGrady was on the bench already.
  12. Re: How Big Of An Ole Boy Are Ya... 6', 220 #'S
  13. My son and I went to tht Rocket's game last night against the Mil. Bucks. I have had the opinion from watching on tv that all this guy is, is tall. After watching him in person last night, I am sure of it. He is not a basketball player. His shot is not that good, he doesn't rebound, he slap at the ball instead of grabbing it, looks like he is playing volleyball. His positioning for rebounds is not good either. Makes you wonder how he gets voted to the all-star game? I forgot to take my camera, so I didn't get any pics, but we had a blast at the game, even though it was a blow out. We are now in San Antonio, getting ready to hit the River walk and then the Alamo in the morning.
  14. Re: Cutting the Bills some slack (Texans) Welcome to my world. Just a couple of more reasons why I am a COWBOY fan. Houston sports teams just don't seem to understand how the real game is played. (with the exception of the astros who have been tolerable lately, it they would just give up on Lidge)
  15. Re: Happy Birthday Ohiobucks Happy Birthday
  16. Re: NHRA driver dies (John Force\'s driver) That's sad, I hadn't heard about it.
  17. Re: Mikey didn\'t qualify again. Maybe we just need to pin this thread at the top. I think it may be needed again.
  18. Re: What do you do????? Hand him a saftey pin and tell him to be careful while putting it on.
  19. Re: Teacher Funnies [ QUOTE ] TEACHER: Harold, what do you call a person who keeps on talking when people are no longer interested? HAROLD: A teacher. [/ QUOTE ] Lot of truth to that one
  20. Re: Appropriate High Fence Thread!!!! Rossman, you brought our pm out in the open, so I will just save time and reply to you here. As long as this remains civil, I see no reason for it not to remain. Just remember, you can not force your views on everyone and I imagine not everyone will have the same view as you, so don't get to upset if you get opinions that don't agree with you.

  23. Re: Another ATV delima... [ QUOTE ] umm well i am not sure "texastrophies" but u would think the manufacturers could seal the water out!! but i know for a fact yamaha's dont however i cant speak for other models becuase i have never rode them!! but this is exactly why i would not buy a belt driven atv!! shafts dont slip! [/ QUOTE ] They can't seal the water out. For the belt and system to survive, it has to be cooled off and the way this is done is to have an air inlet and outlet to get fresh air in and hot air out. Water get's in through these ducts, if you get the atv in deep enough
  24. Re: help with AC unit Please!!! Here is a few things to check. It sounds like either your pan line is plugged or kinked, but you said you put a new one on and snaked it, so that shouldn't be it. Where the drain line attaches to the pan, do you have a valve there that may be shutoff? Take a look in the pan itself, is the water getting to the level where the drain is at? Since you just replaced it, you don't have the drain line running higher than the pan anywhere do you, maybe going over some rafters instead of under or through?
  25. Re: Another ATV delima... [ QUOTE ] yamaha- belts slip when they get wet!! [/ QUOTE ] Which manufacture's belt won't slip when it get's wet?????? OK Snapper, we need pics of that new BF Have you got it yet?
