Re: Need help with hunting footage How long is the tape? I should be able to do it with my digital8 camcorder although I have never tried it.

Re: Stoeger Model 2000? I've had one since September and never picked up the browning bps for ducks or upland since. It does kick a bit but it is great to carry around all day. I think it is a good gun for the money.

Re: Last Day They hunt well together, although the darker one spends most of her time in South Dakota. We'll run up to four dogs at once although that can get a little crazy. I prefer to run one or two, but sometimes I have to run more.

Re: How do you guys get the picture under your name??? at the top of the page go to "My Home" then go to the bottom of the "my home" page to "Personal information, email, password, etc. " and click "edit." Near the bottom there is a section to upload your avatar, hit submit at the bottom of the page and that should do it -
Our pheasant season ended on the 10th and while it wasn't the typical cold and snowy last day we did pretty good. I actually had two birds in the last week with spurs right at 5/8", my longest that I can remember. We had an excellent season with lots of birds, if the weather holds and we get a fairly dry spring there should be a bunch around next year as well.

Re: Antler Assasins I managed this one during our shotgun season in mid december. It wasn't the big one I hoped for but it is my best buck since 2001. 17 3/4" inside, 8 points.

Re: Rechargeable Batteries I've used powerex NiMH batteries for a couple years with good results.

Re: Are you getting an e-mail from ebay? Most likely if you have signed into ebay using their link they have stolen your username and password. Go to ebay account theft page and follow the directions.

Re: Are you getting an e-mail from ebay? This is called phishing, someone is trying to steal your information. Forward it to [email protected] and delete it. Don't ever use personal info through an email link.

best two weeks for my game camera
smallmunster replied to smallmunster's topic in Photography & Video
Re: best two weeks for my game camera These are the type of pics I have always hoped to get and finally I got lucky. Since I am not bowhunting this year I will have to wait for the gun seasons to start in a couple weeks. Just goes to show that you can never tell what will show up on the camera. -
Re: Video Editing??? I have windows movie maker installed as well and have only used it once, just to try it out. I found it to be pretty painful to use after using studio. For the money Studio is pretty hard to beat and pretty easy to use. I can't swing Premiere and probably wouldn't use most of the extra features anyway. Nero is a cd/dvd burning application that is very popular and is often packaged with burners when you buy them. Studio will burn to a cd/dvd as well but I have had better luck with Nero and it seems to be faster and has a lot more options.

I've had my Trailmac out for the last two weeks and checked it the other day. These are the best bucks I have gotten on a game camera. These four are of the same buck:

Re: Video Capture Cards I've heard of the dazzle products but don't have any firsthand info. You might do a google search for users reviews.

DOWNLOADING VIDEO ONTO MY COMPUTER???
smallmunster replied to AvonLKHunter's topic in Photography & Video
Re: DOWNLOADING VIDEO ONTO MY COMPUTER??? If you have a digital camcorder you can probably do it. If it is analog (VHS, 8mm) you will need a converter. I have never used one but here is a link to the ones I have heard about: DAzzle . -
Anyone have a Savage bolt action slug gun?
smallmunster replied to AaronS's topic in Shotguns & Accessories
Re: Anyone have a Savage bolt action slug gun? I've had a savage for several years and it shoots extremely well. I like the handling and feel, but the internal magazine is not very good. Without rifle sights it is more for walking/stopped deer (which I greatly prefer anyway) and I have killed several with it. Good luck with the new gun. -
Re: help I emailed a copy to you. If it is still not right let me know.

Re: stoeger m-2000? I've had one for a month and I think it is a good gun for the money. I've used it duck and goose hunting without trouble. The choke tubes fit really tight the first time they go in but this seems to be normal for the stoeger. I got the MAX4 camo version for $400.

Re: Some new deer videos The link to the first video should be fixed now.

My brother got the second deer of his career, a small button buck. He used a Savage 10 ML-II, the range was about 20 yards. My other brother and I also managed to each get a doe as well. Brothers Button Buck (900K, WARNING: GRAPHIC KILL SCENE) ( LINK FIXED ) These are some bucks that we saw during the doe hunt we were on. We'll be back in December for the buck hunt. Some good bucks (.wmv, 5 MB, 2 minutes)

Re: TEAM 22 I think we should go with the name, I think we have enough "yes" votes. I got some video up of some of the bucks we saw during the doe hunt. It was a pretty good day for seeing bucks. I also had one 30 yards away in the timber that would have been done for if it was December. It was a nice 9 point that would have went around 130". I would like to say I would have passed it up for bigger but it would have been awful tempting. My brother did manage his second deer of his career, a small button buck, with only a few minutes of light remaining. Brothers Button Buck (900K, WARNING: GRAPHIC KILL SCENE) Some good bucks (.wmv, 5 MB, 2 minutes)

Re: TEAM 22 I managed a doe on 10-8-05 during an antlerless hunt. Doe 10-8-05 My brothers and I will have a buck hunt in the same spot in December. I took the video cam and got some footage of some good bucks in the area so I have high hopes for December. I'll post some of the video clips when I get a chance.
