I don't play anymore because I graduated last year, but my old team is off to a 3-0 start. Wins have been 27-0, 14-2(I think) and 49-7. The first 2 opponents are usually decent teams, but the third team hasn't won a game in like 3 seasons now. The only touchdown scored against us was after one of our safeties got a pick, but then fumbled it and the other team scooped and scored. Our D only lost one starter from last year, so they are playing very well this year. Our offense lost mainly just linemen, but our qb has missed 2 games now due to a hurt shoulder, and our runningback hasn't played a full game yet because of a high ankle sprain. Both are all-state caliber players. I can't wait to see some games when they are both back and healthy. Should be a good season, and possibly another state championship run like my junior year! I love high school football.

I may have been limp wristing. I shot another 7 mags through it today with no problems. I need to go buy another case of ammo and put some more rounds through it to know for sure, but I at least trust it a little bit now.

big semi's, not so much. big 4x4's on the other hand, I love. Anybody else going to the 4x4 Jamboree in Indy thats coming up in a couple weeks?

good luck on getting just the syllabus. All of my friends started their college classes today. Most of them are complaining about huge homework assignments, essays due this week, and whatever else. haha.

I was wonderin what happened to all the s. Indiana guys. Nice to see you back on here.

and your gonna let me hang a stand there as soon as you figure out where that big boy is at, right?

That is a crazy looking shed. Good luck getting drawn.

I'd go with an Omega. The one with a laminated thumbhole stock, and weathershield barrel. Never been a fan of the look or feel of the break action guns.

I'm gonna put a few more rounds through it, with different ammo before I call them. I did notice that there is a little burr on the trigger bar. It is at the very tip of the little piece that bends up. Do you think this could be a possible cause? It is not much, just rough enough that I can feel it if I rub my finger over it.

robbed 5 times? wow. Sounds like you need to hire a rent-a-cop for your house! That sucks to hear. Good to see you back though.

I cleaned it the other day. Went shooting today, after about the 8th round it jammed on me again. This time it wasn't really a jam, the slide just locked back like the mag was empty. I racked the slide and continued shooting with no problem. I only shot 2 mags out of it today though. I don't know why it would do that. Last time I remember it was like 2 rounds came up out of the mag after the spent shell was ejected, so I just had to pull one of those rounds out and rack the slide to keep shooting.

I'm assuming thats the same buck in each picture. In the first couple of pics, I see a g4 on the left only. But in the last one, you can clearly see the G4 on the right, but can't see one on the left. So yeah I'd say it is a 10. He's a dandy for sure.

Just 18 here. Will be 19 in 10 days. I've been an active member here since I was 11. Thats almost half of my life. haha.

It sure feels good to not be back in school this year! My highschool started back up last week, or maybe the week before. Of course, most of my friends have moved away for college now so theres even less to do in this boring town these days.

Get a pair of hip boots. Or practice your long jump technique!

hahaha one of the few times I've actually laughed out loud at a joke on here.

Pick a muzzleloader that fits you well, and you can afford. Muzzleloaders are perfect for working up a lighter charge for less recoil. You can load up 90 grains or so of powder, and a lightweight bullet and have very little recoil, and still kill any deer.

I shoot the Federal 209A primers. In my gun (remington 700ml) I started out shooting colder primers. I think the Winchesters. I would literally hear a pop-boom everytime I shot. I switched to the hotter Federal Primers, and its just boom. The colder primers for some reason took a split second to ignite the powder in my gun. I don't remember if I was using loose powder, or pellets at that time. I currently shoot loose powder though, and it works great. Most guns the primer doesn't make a huge difference. Many people prefer the colder primers because they typically leave less of a crud ring in your barrel. Some people claim the colder primers can be more accurate too, which is why many people convert back to the old #11's and such.

You are my hero! I've got to try that someday.

I don't know where all this pain is that everyone is talkin bout. I woke up to my dog barking early this morning, just a little bit of soreness. A couple advils later and I was headed out the door to go squirrel hunting since I had already told my boss I couldn't work. lol. I'm just hopin my cheeks don't swell up. I've been using the ice packs on 'em like i'm spose to still.

So for those of you who keep your pull-up ropes attached to the stand, how you do roll them up, or keep them from hanging loose when your packing the stand in and out? I always use one to, just trying to decide the best way to go about it. lol Also, anyone ever climb a telephone pole? Thats all I have in my backyard to practice climbing on. I plan on taking it out to the farm and practicing on some real trees too, but just curious about the telephone pole idea too, because it would be way more convenient.

I got a Summit Viper SS for christmas last year, and will be hunting out of it for the first time this year. I just have a few questions for those of you with more experience than me. First, how straight of a tree do you need? Can you climb a tree with knots and such in it? What about limbs, do any of you carry a small saw to cut off some low hanging limbs, so you can climb higher, or do you just find a tree with no low limbs on it? Do you wear a climbing harness sure you are safe the entire time you're climbing, or do you just put your normal safety harness on when you reach the point where you're going to stop? When you use a rope to pull your bow up, do you just leave the rope tied to the climber, or do you carry one with one in a pack/bag? And lastly, are the footrests worth $40. Part of me wants one, but part of my doesn't want to spend that much for one. lol

I almost bought one for my new summit the other day. They were like $40 at bass pro though. I thought sheesh thats expensive and walked out the door without it. The more I read and think about it though, the more I wish I would've bought it. Oh well maybe I can find one locally, or just order one before season starts.
