  1. Maybe someone can pin this for a little bit. I know usually we have a thread on here to post what they got from whom for the Christmas Exchange. So let's hear it! I'm still waiting, lol
  2. Re: If Santa were real... A Polaris ATV,lol, in RT camo or Blue.
  3. Re: This is very cool I just had my name in a draw along with my sister and mom. Either way whoever won would have shared the prize, lol.
  4. So I like never win anything in contests, don't usually expect to and I enter them for fun. Well at the feed mill where we get our feed and animal stuff, they had a contest/drawing for $50 gift certificate. My sister and I collect Breyer model horses for anyon who knows what they are and if you don't, well they are about the best model horse maker in the world. Anyway I'm on the computer and a phone call comes through saying we'd won a $50 certificate! Woohoo. We didn't know if it was me, my sister, or mom who won but we got there and the ceritificate had my name on it! Of course I shared with my sister, lol. so yeah, just thought I'd tell you all I actually won something, ha ha

    Your WORST present

Re: Your WORST present LOL! I'm not one to complain and have never really received anything I couldn't use or didn't like. Andy's relatives will give us all shirts and the same thing year after year, that they get from a thrift store and we wouldn't even wear them they are so horrible, or putpourri which reeks. This year mom is like I'm just sending a card, they don't put thought into their gifts at all. Besides the real meaning of the season is Christ's birth, not what you get for gifts, besides you can't take them with you when you die. But it is fun:)
  6. Re: OMG LOL! I was like hmmm...what is wyo posting in the women's forum? lol. Thanks for the congrats!
  7. And I did not come out empty handed I ended up getting some tree stand steps for Andy to replace the ones heh ad stolen, and for me....A Limbsaver Mini-S Coil Stabilizer and Limbsaver Insulator strips for my bow grip. Yeah my Hoyt Rintec XL will be beefed up next fall I hear the S-coil works well, anyone have one andh ave experience with it? I think it will make my relatively bow even more quiet now
  8. Re: Finally Got Her! Whoa! that thing is a beast!
  9. Re: college is so frustrating My piece of advice - go for the degree you want. I went to college planning to major in Athletic Training. College decided they weren't going to get it accredited so they dropped the major. I switched to outdoor ed. as I didn't want to transfer. Now I'm not really sorry I did, but I graduated in August and the desire to do Athletic Training is still strong, yet I'm paying loans and the government probably won't give me much financial aid for another B.S. in Athletic Training. A Master's...maybe but there aren't really any college close enough that I can commute to for Athletic Training and now I almost wish I had just transferred in the first place for Athletic Training so I could afford to have that degree. You can still play soccer at the one school, just not the college team and although the other college will give you a free ride to play on their team...you will be balancing that and your studies the next 4 years, but if you can handle it, good for you. Just my 2 cents:) Let us know what you decide!
  10. Re: 20 and 33 point bucks Definitely probably non-typical bucks with that many points....I wouldn't mind one on my wall, lol.
  11. Re: Last forum meet for 2006!!!!!!! This weekend!! Too bad you won't be at Gander Mountain today in Tonowanda, NY. That's where I'll be if anyone wants to meet me,lol.

Yesterday I hiked about 1.5 miles through the woods to an overgrown spruce plantation and got a white spruce for our tree then carried it all the way back - alot more exercise then I wanted Today mom and I are going up to the big city aka Buffalo for you NYer's. Of course I have plans to go to Gander Mountain and possible Dicks because I have a $10 certificate thing for Dicks. So you all enjoy the day without me,lol

  15. Re: I need some Ideas LOL! some of these are good; I like having them drive deer to you, lol. how about just renting a few videos/dvds, maybe have some games they can play. If I was close enough I'd come over and teach them some games from my initiatives class.
  16. Re: 16 - Backstrap Butchers Yup, I'dl ike to see hime put one down to:) We only have like 2, maybe 3 people to enter deer if they have one I think....
  17. Re: Strangest injury?? Wow, that had to be a lengthy recovery period! I minored in athletic training so we learned some of the causes of injuries, such as planting and twisting...
  18. Re: Hunting Christmas? Well this week is muzzeloader/late archery season but don't think I'll get out, been too busy. All that's left my Christmas is small game season mainly. I'd liek to go out after some squirrels and if I go out on one of those days it would be Christmas Eve, but likely not.
  19. Re: finally got a camp Wow! great looking place! I'd live there year around, lol. Enjoy it! You know it kinda looks familiar. My mom and I drove around/through Kane in October ona day trip to PA, wonder if we passed by there...
  20. Re: Strangest injury?? [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] It's a long story but I had a pencil stuck in my butt [/ QUOTE ] Pics??? JUST KIDDING...............but you'd better explain this one. LOL [/ QUOTE ] Oooooook Condensed version. When I was about 14 years old my brother decided to play a practical joke on me and propped up a pencil in a chair. He thought I saw him put it there but I didn't and I sat on it. It caught me in the left cheek. [/ QUOTE ] That sounds so painful....lol I can't imagine and don't want to!
  21. Re: What Every Woman Wants for Christmas I saw a pink Team Realtree hat at Walmart the other day...didn't see a shirt like that
  22. Re: Strangest injury?? Wow Moon..... I forgot to menton a few years back our one dog got off his chain and went to the neighbor's house (the neighbors who are jerks). Anyway went to get him and our other neighbor up the road who is out vet, his dog followed me. Well the bad neighbor's dogs (3) ran out and started attacking her. I was screaming and yelling bloody murder at them and throwing stones. The one dog I didn't see leave and he came up behind me and bit me in the upper right side of my butt! Ran home in tears with a nice little puncture in my butt...nothing too serious praise the Lord. I still cringe today if a dog barks at starts even walking towards me.
  23. Re: FCO (An Outdoor Ministry) Wow, that is awesome Alex, I'm sure it will all work out - god's in control:) Sounds like you are on the right track. Keep up the excellent "Christ-like servant work"
  24. Re: question on property and surveys That's cool Andrea - Andy is a surveryor also (he's a close family friend who lives with us, basically only dad we know in case you wondered who I mean by Andy, lol). Only thing is, no way I'm working in the office he works in,lol. Surverying is not for me.
  25. Re: Strangest injury?? Wow, some of these are...kind of funny, lol, but I'm glad everyone is here to tell them! Well here's my abbreviated one,lol When I was 8, my mom ,sister, Andy, and I went to this state land and my mom and sister went walking around, Andy and I went to fish in this creek. Well I saw 2 bullfrogs doing their thingi n the creek and while Andy is fishing, I just had to go try and catch the frogs! When I went to catch them, a pine tree branch swung and hit me in the face. Next thing I know when I open my eyes, my right eye I couldn't see anything but all white! I think I started crying and Andy carried me back to the car, we got mom and my sister. Ended up the pine needle went through my right eye, into the real lens in my eye. I basically had emergency surgery a day later - they took the lens out and afterwards I wore a soft contact lens and glasses with bifocals. Now I just wear a hard contact lens. If I don't have my contact lens in, everything is really blurry - I can see color somewhat and kind of shapes but its all blurry without my lens. Oh, and I originally had blue eyes but the injured eye turned brown so eye, I have a blue eye and brown eye. I'm 23 now and basically have had to see with a lens in that eye longer than I've had a normal eye. Still kind of wonder why it happened and what purpose God had/has for it but oh well, that's my weird story! Of course i think Tominator has been writing a book on the side about me and injuries, lol.
