  1. I stuck a cam out on state land yesterday AM, got it locked and hitting in a 3 branch maple, overlooking a trail and what def. could turn into a nice licking branch;) Need to get the ground blind out in my woods!
  2. Ok, who's got an answer for us? lol
  3. Thanks for the tips! I'm with ya LetMGrow...I plant my plots more as an attractant and food source than to just ' hunt over them". Deer mainly move through our woodsearly AM and late PM so I use my plots as a way to hang around a little. I hope one day a buck decides to drop an antler in the plot, that'd be awesome! :-D
  4. I believe you're right, althought I think it was called TreeBark.
  5. How about Team 'Last Minute Tag-Out'......lol
  6. Doing some organizing and found a couple small things I'm willing to give away, but not without challenging you:48: Open to anyone. If you win a raffle, you are ineligible for any subsequent item raffled, just so everyone else has a chance. First thing I'm going to raffle off is a red rubber Realtree.com wrist band. It was actually given to me by Randy Oitker, and since I have one already, might as well give it to someone else. Has just been sitting in a plastic baggy. To win this item you must name: (1) The first Realtree camo pattern (2) What year it was developed/produced (3) Post a picture of the camo pattern First person to answer all 3 correctly wins the wrist band. I'll let you know if you're the winner and then have you PM your address. Failure to PM me an address in a reasonable time frame will result in the wrist band going to a runner-up. Ok, have fun!:angel1:
  7. Here's the used ML (TC Omega Z5) I bought from a guy at work, barely used, great shape. Barrel looked pretty good, but actually took about 2 hours of cleaning yesterday, more powder build up than I thought. Think I got it about 98-99% clean in the barrel, swabbed it bore butter to 'season' the barrel as the instructions called it. Case and several accessories came with it, there was a scope aswell, small cheap one that I took off. Organized the majority of cleaning accessories and primers into the carry tote and sabots and triple 7 pellets in thebox
  8. Season here stated Sept. 1 but haven't been out, too warm. Temps finally coming down, going to go out tomorrow AM, suppose to be clear and cool. (the benefits of working 3-11 shift, I get mornings to hunt).
  9. My sincere apologies for not updating this sooner! The winner of the 2012 Shed Antler contest is Team #2! For everyone who participated, if you PM me your address, I have a small gift for your participation!

Got a few of my trail cams out...lots of small bucks coming in our woods...not going to be too picky this year about what I shoot since losing alot of prime hunting ground. Excited for Oct. 1!

  16. From a new cam I got, Spypoint IR5 cam. Checked it this AM, is set-up under the apple trees in our woods where I usually put up a ground blind. Guess I better get going on it:D These are all the same buck...he sure likes it here.
  17. This is an Evolved Harvest Rack Radish plot I made a month ago or so....also threw some seed in our field when it got turned under and planted in a grass/hay. Took this picks maybe 2 weeks ago: Need to check it today. Also picked up some seed for the spring. Our feed mill started selling plot seed by the pound. Got 2 pounds of soybeans, a pound of purple top turnip, and a pound of a clover/chickory mix. If your pound get some renovation, then when that is done, I'll turn the banks into a big deer plot;)
