Make sure you pick up a turkey magazine or do some reading on the internet as well. Lots goes in to turkey hunting...don't plan to kill one the first day...turkey are tricksters! I'd suggest spend the $ on the right shells for your gun - if you use something that's not legal in your state - the cost of the ticket will be more $ or the cost of repair for damaging your gun with be more $. I use Federal #5 Mag Shok for my turkey loads

Today is sunny but cold. Was going to go goose hunting but too cold this AM, going to try this afternoon. Tomorrow is suppose to be gorgeous but of course I'm working 7am-3pm...the nice days always fall on the work days,lol Nice skull find!

Maybe not the ideal day but I wouldn't call it bad...a tornado or hurricane didn't destroy your home...a family member didn't die...a pet didn't die. You've got a roof over your head, food to eat, and all your appendages. So bad day? I don't think so;)

Last cpuple times I've ordered from Cabelas, my order has come in like 2 days! Placed an order Tuesday, I had some birthday money - they had 1 cent shipping if you bought clothing. So I got a dry plus RT AP camo fleece balaclava - orginally like $35, on sale for $9, then got a rotary fly tying vice:shifty: Placed it Tuesday evening, came home from work Thursday evening and there was the brown Cabelas box. Good job Cabelas!

I'm on pins and needles, lol. Called Monday and left a message, did not get a reply back. another nurser I work with has an interveiw the same place tomorrow. Going to try calling tomorrow and follow-up yet again...Seems like I'm hearing of alot getting interviews but i'm not...God has a plan, maybe I'm not suppose to be at this other place...I dunno. Just trying to have faith and pray about it.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I filledo ut an application and got it ready for the mail today...I feel like taking this step is a step in God's direction. I can't work for a place that doesn't support it's staff and even worse doesn't support patient rights and advocacy. It'll be their loss, not mine. I will say I've worked with some great staff, but when it comes down to it all, the management is directing the patient care and that is what is going to shut them down in the end. I'll let you guys know what happens, hope to get an interview sometime in the next couple weeks. Applying for a position at a little bit bigger, not huge, hospital...would be a 45 minute drive BUT there are some good state land hunting/fishing spots on the way, lol.
