  1. After I get done with one cold, I come down with another. The badside of working in a hospital where people come in for colds when they should just stay home:taped: Started with this one Monday I think...slight laryngitis and some coughing. Feeling better today but my voice is not, well my voice, lol. Gotta shoot my bow today for sure, otherwise plan to take it easy. Gotta be 100% for the archery opener next Saturday!:camera: Anyone else sick yet?

    First frost

LOL Chris! Don't think we've had a frost here yet...I'm sure it'll be here though!
  3. That's a beauty, congrats Steve!
  4. I know Cabela's has some jewelry...I don't really wear any but I would recommend doing a search online...but maybe someone here has some ideas!
  5. Mr. Tim Andrus aka Mr. Trouble Maker, put an awesome Milk River buck on the ground! If you haven't followed along, the thread is in the ProStaff room, but I'm sure he'll be posting the story and pics at some point. Just wanted to send out a Congrats to Tim!
  6. Deer archery starts Oct. 16. Been out squirrel hunting couple times, got 2. Having a real job takes away hunting time, not too mention this cruddy fall weather so far. Stuck inside doing this computer stuff for the hospital the next couple days but by end of the week is suppose to be nice, it needs to be because I need to shoot my bow!
  7. Good luck Chris, with both the landowner and tracking! We've all had it happen to us at some point....
  8. I wish you luck all the time Tim...LOL:-p Should send you one of my 4 leaf clovers... Hope to hear "bbd" soon!
  9. Sometimes down here I go a couple days without seeing deer... This rain is getting boring fast, more this week, until Thursday. Praying the opener on the 16th dawns crisp and clear...I think all the rain fronts we've had is slowing things down...
  10. They are Merino Wool, or majority of them are...I like Merino, doesn't make me itchy, lol.
  11. That guy wouldn't stand a chance against my Hoyt and Thunderhead broadhead....
  12. What really annoys me at Walmart, is carrying everything hunting clothing is size L- XXL...Are they trying to say everyone that hunts is obese? lol
  13. Be prepared is all I gotta say...:eat: Knowing your bow was only sighted in for 30, why take a 35 and risk a bad shot and wounding an animal? I'm not saying none of us on here hasn't made mistakes, we all have, but the way you make it sound, sounds like you should know your bow more before shooting at an animal.
  14. But the little ones are the best tasting...lol :-D Got 2 weeks to go here! Good luck to you PAers!
  15. Loving reading this thread! Keep at it Tim! Sounds like plenty of deer! Just gotta wait for the "moment". Say a little prayer from your stand;)
  16. Well Gander Mountain was a miss aka sometimes we go and find some great deals, sometimes not. This was a not. Well I did get a pair of heavyweight hunting socks, and 4 boxes of sabot slugs that were on sale. I just ordered a rifled slug barrel today for my Mossberg, so with that and my Nikon scope, come shotgun season, those deer better watch out. Next road trip will be to Bass Pro I think, lol. We did eat at Outback...mom ate there once and it was good, this time around, it was ok, nothing to special. Still a nice day besides the crazy city drives. And no Chris, I didn't sprain anything:-p
  17. That's a "keep it at a safe distance from me" snake...lol Pretty neat though!
  18. Aaaw, sorry to hear, definitely scary. Keep us update! Hope she's doing ok!
  19. Nice pics Shaun! The wind and rain we've had last 2 weeks has kind of ruined our fall colors...Nice grouse, they are stinkers to hunt!
  20. I'd suggest Federal MagShok...I shoot #5s out of my Mossberg 20 ga and it likes those the best....pattern nice and make for dead turkeys, lol
