good deal--hope for a late freeze

After a 1/2 inch rain 4 days ago starting to get a few sprouts todd

Two acre plot planted in wheat, jumbo ladino clover, and Evolved Habitats Shot Plot Second plot is little over 1/4 acre planted in wheat and shot plot This is a plot that is next to my waterfowl pond. Close to an acre and planted in wheat and ground hog radishes. Then I have two small micro huntiing plots that are only about 50 yards from each other. The are right next to the creek that runs on my land. The first one can be hunted with a south wind and the second one on a north wind. Planted with Biologics Green Patch Plus.

I fell for the crossbow and purchased an Excalibur last year. I love shooting this thing and it gives my daughter (who can't draw back a legal bow yet) to go hunting. Have yet to shoot a deer with one but hopefully that will change this year. Still love shooting my bow. When i'm in a tree stand i carry the bow and when i am hunting one of my pop up blind i will be carrying the crossbow. The goal is to get more people hunting during bow season and i think the legalization of crossbows here in oklahoma will do just that. todd

looks like we got another 3/10 last night so be about a total of 1/2 inch in a 24 hours period. Hopefully enough to get the seeds started. Very good chances Friday morning for heavy rain.

I usually put about 75# per acre but always add a brassica mix in also. Seems to work out good. If i was adding oats, which usually die off at the first good freeze, I will jump it up to 75# of wheat/rye and 25# oats plus the brassica

got about 2/10ths last night but bigger chances with heavy rain coming thursday and friday. getting a late start with this late summer drought. Most years i already have 2 weeks of growth by this time. Hopefully we don't get any early freeze.

Now just hoping for some rain. Got 5 plots planted. This was the first year in 10 years that I wasn't able to get my spring plots in the ground. I ended up having 5 surgeries on my right eye starting Jan 31 and had the last one early March. Doc wouldn't let me get on the tractor. Eye is doing better! My main plot which is 2 acres I planted 150# wheat, 10# of Jumbo Ladino Clover, 5# of Evolved Habitats shot plot (turnip/radish mix). Two seperate plots that are about one acre each--planted 50# wheat and 5# of ground hog radishes. I have two 1/4 acre plots that are bow hunting plots deep in the woods with limited access. I planted Biologics Green Patch Plus (only biologic product that I have had success with). No picture but I will try to get some pics once i get some rain to get the seeds going. todd

so i added some more aggressive fender flares in black. Need a grill guard to finish her up but have to find one that doesn't interfere with air flow to the turbo cooler.

Shoot a Bowtech but plan on hunting some with my Excalibur Crossbow some also this year. Has any shot a PM to the no shows? They just might now know that the teams have been formed yet.

how many pounds per acre did you plant?
