I have had really good luck with with Evolved Habitats Throw and Grow for a fall plot in the shade. The sweet ryegrass in the blend seems to be very shade tolerant. It also has a brassica blend in it--while I do get some growth with the brassica they are very stunted due to the low sunlight they receive. I have never had much luck with any warm season blends planted in the shade. todd

yes--a properly force fetched dog should pick up anything it is told. Whether it is a goose, duck, or the morning paper. You are not force fetching if you are not adding the force. Skip the toe pinch unless you really need it. Go with the ear pinch and after the ear pinch then you can transition into the collar and then do walking fetch with the collar. are you actually forcing now--using ear pinch. If not you need to go to ear pinch and eventually a collar to "force" the fetch. Not uncommon at all for dogs not to want to hold the larger object.

welcome to the forum. weird genetic trait that i am not familiar with. I really dont think culling in a free ranging herd will be effective as 50% if those genes come from the mom. My guess is you have a good buck:doe ratio and getting lots of buck sparring. what you need to do is set out cameras next spring and summer as those bucks are growing their antlers and see if it is actually a genetic trait or are they losing the antlers from fighting. todd

Hey Dog Yes, McQuery should have gone to the police but he did tell Paterno--the head coach of the football team and the boss of the man that was molesting 10 year old boys. He allowed this man to remain on campus and allowed this man keep participating with the team. Paterno went to the AD--he should have also gone to the police but wanted to cover this up just like the rest of the people involved. Paterno is as guilty as anyone IMO and should be punished accordingly. todd
