  2. You should be fine. might not get quite as much forage but that all depends on when the wheat goes into winter dormancy.

    congrats!!!!!!
  4. i got so many coons at my place. in one pic there are 9 coons eating the corn. I bought an easy fill feeder for this spot deep in the woods and it has a varmint cage around it but those little rascals can stick there paw in and rotate the spinner and get the corn to drop out. Gonna have to put longer legs on it.
  5. I'd also like to see his full body. Antlers can full you but that might be all he is going to be. The mass around his base makes you think he is a mature buck. I bet he is. todd
  6. Got my cameras out a week ago and pulled them. Lots of doe pics and small bucks but one shooter for sure.

    It is a shame!

i started getting a bunch of advertising and long list of options at the top of the screen and have to scroll down a long ways until I actually get to the forum. Just started happening today. i just figured it was a flaw that would get fixed quickly. My enter key on my home computer works fine but my enter key doesnt work on my computer at the office on this forum. I will have to try what was suggested and see if that fixes it. todd
  14. Hey bud---i've been AWOL for a while to but back now. gotta wait till oct 1 here in oklahoma
  15. if you are looking for something to plant and pop up fast so you can hunt it this year then you are better off planting cereal grains such as wheat, ryegrain, and oats. Adding some purple top turnips or other brassicas such as rape, beets, or radished will work off. Clover is a good draw but a slow growing plant. Planting a perennial clover now will not see a lot of forage production until next spring. I've planted the throw and grow but it is mainly ryegrass. If you want a premix that you can buy at walmart or another sports store I would recommend Biologics Green Patch Plus. I've always had good deer browse from this product and you can get it almost anywhere. Mixture of cereal grains, brassicas, and annual clovers. good luck todd
  16. I'm waiting on some rain in the forcast so I can plant. Got the fields all ready to till and plant but just nothing in the 7 day. Had such a wet summer but now when we are suppose to get rain not getting any.
