I've had it twice. Not infection but just from a strain. Commonly happens after lifting/moving heavy objects. Ibuprofen and wearing a jock over your briefs to give the boys some support. Lasts about 7 to 10 days. If you start peeing blood or if it hurts to pee then infection might be setting in--you'll be fine.
