I do not have a stabilizer on my new bow.

I set mine on a 5 gal plastic pale.

I am 6' 1" and my draw length is 29" (28.5" cam w/ a string loop).

My new bow is set at 60 lbs. I know I can pull back a lot more but I find my accuracy decreases the higher I set it.

I am good with the name... We have a few weeks until the NY season starts but I am getting ready.

I have been using a Winn Free Flight for the last ~15 years. I am buying a TRU Ball with my new bow.

I have lost several deer with Spitfire broadheads. I now shoot Muzzy's. I have lost a deer with the Muzzy but my success rate has significantly gone up.

Currently a Jennings Buckmaster. However, I have ordered a Mathews Mission Journey. The new bow should be in next week.

Congrats Tim... I received my 2nd preference point for the Iowa Archery season so it looks likes I will be there next year.

Tim... I just wanted to let you know I just ordered my new bow from Phil at Indian Mountain Archery. I ended up going with the Mathews Mission Journey. It was the bow Phil recommended.

I just put down a deposit on a new bow. I ordered a Mathews Mission Journey (28 1/2 Cam / 70# Limbs). I went in to the archery shop last week planning on getting a Mathews Drenalin. I was a little hesitant at first to look at the Mission line, but the owner insisted I shout the Journey and even told me he had recently switched from the Drenalin to the Journey. After talking with the owner for a little over 3 hours and shooting both the Drenalin and the Journey (the owners bow) I decided I really like the Journey. However I just needed a little time to decide as I had not really done any research on the Mission line. After reading everything I could find on the Realtree Forums (and everywhere else) I was convinced the Mission line was for me. Of course it did not hurt that I was saving a couple hundred dollars by buying the Journey. The owener of the archery shop says he will have the bow in and set up in about two weeks. I can not wait.

Tim I was great to meet you this evening while I was shopping for my new bow. I think I am sold on purchasing from Phil. I just need to make a final decision on the bow now.

Well the NY season ended May 31st and I was not able to connect with a bird this year. Sorry guys.

Things have been slow in Western NY. Hopefully I will connect with a bird this weekend.

This past weekend was my 5th trip down to Richmond from NY for the May races. They were a couple of good races and we sure got lucky with the weather. The track crew did a great job drying the track Saturday night after all of the rain.
