  1. I'll be the first to call Kitna over-rated then, but he's not nearly as over-rated as Romo.:smoke:
  2. yeah, they're a very solid team. i wouldn't call them a SB favorite, but I think they can definitely win it if they get a few breaks.

    Steelers

Steelers have some issues with that Oline of theirs.
  4. I think they're one of the most over-rated teams in the NFL, led by one of the most over-rated QBs in the league. They'll stop playing for Garrett in a few weeks, because they're a group of idividual egos and don't play team football. That said, Dez Bryant is a future superstar. They have some talent on offense, but outside of DeMarcus Ware, I think their defense was given a lot more credit for having talent that just isn't there.
  5. Hillis as your second back too? Good luck with that. He's an interchangeable part on my three teams. I got 4-5 stud RBs on each squad though. Nice Luxury. Got Phil Rivers as my QB in all three too, 3rd round pick in each draft...boom. Romo, Schaub and Brady all got drafted before I got Rivers...and you don't get much more over-hyped than Romo and Schaub...well, unless your name is Kevin Durant.
  6. I'm also the one who told you all about Favre about 4 years before the rest of the world woke up. I never said Oden was going to be the best thing since sliced bread, what I said was if you have the chance to draft an athletic big man, you do. Shooting guards who can score are a dime a dozen, and yeah, wow the Thunder is 3-3...great. Durant won't win anything. Once Oden comes back in December, he's going to play a pivotal role in what could be a deep postseason run for Portland. Again, I'm way ahead of the curve on this one, but we'll witness it soon enough. It's funny how Oden is about the only thing you guys have on me. You ignore the Favre, Romo being average and not a winner, the Torri Hunter over Andruw Jones, the how ManRan won't do anything to help the Dodgers, the fact Tressel folds in big spots. I'm correct 1,200 times, wrong once and it's the one you guys want to always throw in my face. I guess that's how it is when you're on top.
  7. I assume you mean Danny WOODhead, if so, go with him, especially if you're in a PPR league. He's been the more effective back in New England and they use him on 3rd down. :cool2:
  8. you know what isn't gay? my combined 20-7 record in my three fantasy leagues. I got Hillis late in all three, got Arian Foster and Ahmad Bradshaw in mid-rounds in all three. if you guys need advice, let me know. My one team's RBs are Ray Rice, Arian Foster, Ahmad Bradshaw, Darren McFadden, and Peyton Hillis. And this is a saavy league, not like the dog and pony shows you guys roll with. i'm not drafting against my uncle jim, i'm drafting against guys who know their stuff and are putting big money on the line.
  9. Peyton Hillis: Nope, just me dude.
  10. Obviously, I was a huge fan...UNTIL the dbag waited until the last week of free agency to go on national TV and rub his hometown's face in it. He didn't even have the common decency to return Dan Gilbert's phone calls in the weeks leading up to "The Decision." All Glibert did was give him whatever he asked for, including 65 million dollars in salary during James' time with the Cavs. "I got one goal, and it's a huge one, and that's to bring a championship here to Cleveland, and I won't stop until I get it." ~LeBron James. Hypocrite, and the Big Sleazy Three broke about 20 league rules by conspiring to join each other in Miami...happened while they were representing our nation too. My imparting sports wisdom on you guys never grows old.
  11. He's a POS...what can I do about it? That's his problem.
  12. I wouldn't, but I know a lot guys who would. If you want to, and he gives you a chance, take it. Nothing wrong with that buck.
  13. They're going to win a ton of regular season games, but I don't think they can beat more complete teams, like Boston or the Lakers, in a seven game series...not until they get more complimentary pieces for The Big Sleazy Three.
  14. I haven't seen any activity, but I've seen a lot of bucks on the side of the road. I don't think the does are there yet though, not from what I've seen anyway.
  15. Love em, Brownies, Buckeyes, Cavs, and the Tribe. Hate em, Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Michigan Blowverines, USC Trojans, Miami Hurricanes, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons, LA Lakers, Detroit Red Wings, and that's about it.
  16. Thank you, Corey... I'm not just saying this because they lost, plain and simple, that was honestly the most poorly coached OSU game I've seen Tressel call. Just is what it is. Pryor has a serious quad injury, he was moving at about 80%. Again, the Badgers did whatever they wanted on offense and Tolzien made some clutch passes on some key 3rd downs, so even if Pryor was full go, they probably wouldn't have won. But, if Pryor isn't 100%...why so many option plays? The coaches did not do their job in putting their players in the best positoin to win. Again, might not have mattered, but that's what they are paid to do...
  17. that what i say bucks only lose a won game so far pryor still good they can win confrets title no problem michigan st is no good play bucks they lose for sure
  18. Keep ignoring the facts boys...keep ignoring the facts.
  19. Wisconsin played a great game and has a great running game/Oline. But it was a poorly coached game by Tressel, anyone that's being honest with themselves can't agrue that fact. Tommy, the Buckeyes have one of the deepest backfields in the nation, one of the better QBs in the nation (if you use his skillset correctly), and returned more starters than any other team in the nation coming off an impressive Rose Bowl win over the current #2 team in the country (who also returned more starters than any other team besides OSU). To say they weren't a legit title contender is comical...because they sure as heck were. Tressel tightens up in big spots and seems too timid to trust his team (and especially his QB)...he did the same thing with Troy Smith at first, when he finally trusted him, TSmith won the Heismann. The guy is a good coach and has great character...but he's drop the ball in big games more than once.
  20. Anyways...if I was going to change coaches...I'd give this guy a hefty raise and promote him to Athletic Director: Then I'd give this guy about 4 mil a year to close out big games the right way:
  21. I know, the accuracy of my points usually aren't clear until you guys have about two weeks to digest the intricacy. It was a poorly coached game, Tom, no way around it. Again, I'm not calling for a coaching change, but the facts are the facts. Poor game management and poor game planning. You can't blame the defensive line for that.
  22. Hey eveyone, have you met Jim Tressel's PR man yet? Hey Tom, how are you? Don't get me wrong, hats off to the Badgers. I was worried about this game, more than any other on their schedule, but play calling and game management...AGAIN...was very suspect and that seems to happen far too often in BIG GAMES. I'm not saying they should have won, but the game management was deplorable, and the coaches didn't put their players in the best position to make it a game. The Buckeyes had zero swagger and that opening kick return seemed to have WAY too much of an impact on the players psyche. Teddy Ginn returned the opening kick off against the Gators, they didn't seem to wilt though, to say the least. Area where coaching showed a lack of confidence, and cost the Buckeyes chances: 1.) OSU second offensvie play call, an option out of the Pistol. First time they've run that all year, and it was after a 14 yard completion to Posey...what's been their bread-n-butter all year. Stupid call and it resulted in a drive killing 12 yard loss on the bad pitch. 2.) They needed to use their safeties to help stop the run. We all knew how good Wisconsin's Oline was, how good John Clay was. OSU's front 7 was being owned. Hines was used in run support on 3 plays that I saw...not enough. Bring him down, even bring both he and Johnson down. If you get beat over the top...so be it, at least you're making Wisconsin get away from what they do best. 3.) Again, stupid red zone playcalling in the first half. RUN THE BALL or call play action with Pryor. Instead, they went back to more of that option/pistol crap we haven't seen all year and seemed timid to throw into the end zone. BS. When they stayed committed to the run with Boom Herron, they scored in the red zone in the 2nd half. 4.) Not calling time out at the end of the first half. We stopped them on 2nd and 14, a time out there would have left them with a hard 3 and 14. Stop them, call another time out and you have a shot a good field position with about 50 seconds left. Instead they let Wisc chew clock, then took a knee to finish the half. 5.) Kicking a FG down 21-0 in the 2nd quarter when you only need 3 yards. 6.) Punting with 6 minutes to go, down 2 scores. That's on the coaches, and their apparent lack of faith in their team. OVERLY CONSERVATIVE. You played scared, you lose. They were the #1 team in the country. You come out and punch people in the mouth, don't be timid.
  23. NO IDENITY ON OFFENSE... Pretty obvious Pryor was at about 70% too because of his quad. That cost them, I think if he could have scrambled at full speed, they may have given them a better game. OSU got pushed around on defense. Again, I love Tressel, but why in the world did he punt down two scores with a few minutes left in the game...and also, again, opting for a FG down 21-0 when you have the ball on the three yard line. What are you doing, Tressel? Not to mention, the goalline play calling was inexcusable. This BS option out of the pistol formation? Line up, run the ball and mix in a little play action. This is OSU, use the I-formation Tress!!!!
