  5. I feel for you!! That has happened to me 3 times,, what a miserable feeling. I've put up with a truckload of backstabbing and office politics for 5 years now same job, , hopefully I've earned one week of bow hunting as a reward.. Good Luck to you,, Ray
  6. Hey all!! I have a fair question, I've been using the Trubal Caliper for years, no complaints. But I recently switched to a D-Loop and I want to stick with it. My release is okay, but it feels hard. I've adjusted it back and forth, even borrowed one from a friend. I'm thinking about investing in the Loopmaster? Anybody with D-Loop have similar experience,, as always, thanks Ray
  7. I hear they are the best for inconsistent shooters like myself,,the entry wound is huge,,
  8. Excellent man,, you can't get better therapy,, the sense of family,, good times to come!!!
  9. Thanks for the tip!! I was watching a hunting show on TV the other night, host stated several tikes Rage were the best for the non-perfect shootes. They showed the entry wound, huge,,
  10. I was going through my things in the garage, and I found me about 5 unopened bottles of Scent Free spray. Must have picked them up at a Walmart of Kmart clearance. If memory serves me right, they must be a least three years old, anyone know if they're any good? Thanks
  11. If you go to the easton web site, they have a nice chart that can help you as well. As does Goldtip for their carbon lines.
  12. You gotta admit, it is fun!!!
  13. 90 lbs!!! No muscle tone?!!!,, I don't believe any manufacturer today would even recommend using that kind of pull strength.. I don't know,, sounds like someone is talking out his muffler,, (you get my drift)
  14. Nice!!! Congrads,, get her ready for season and tell us how you do!!!

    New hunting site

Welcome to the forums!! I have to agree, I've seen heard a lot of people join just to advertise their own website and disappear, so don't take the reaction the wrong way. Not to worry though, I checked out the site, it was okay, but Realtree is still the best
  16. Oooo, I remember that one,, it was a tough call, if I can trade in or sell my Bowtech, the Guardian will definitely replace it. Strength brother!!!
  17. Looks okay,, not sure if you will run into a problem if you ever switched to a differenk nok. I just put a loop on my new bow, had to switch to Blazer noks on all my arrows. As long as there is no contact with arrow nok you'll be fine.. Good luck!!!!
  18. Matter of fact it is. Had a Bowtech Patriot for about 3 years now,, but surgey on left shoulder made me look for something lighter. Thank you all for the good wishes,, it was with the help of all the forum members I was able to seek and decide.. Come on bowseason!!!
  19. It took some serious spare change gathering and I have no idea how many Saturdays working int he sun, but I finally put enough money to make the move. Picked up my new Drenalin. I test shot everything I could get my hands on, but the Drenalin was it for me. I have a set up in my basement consisting of piece of cardboard with some marks and a tape mark on the floor that allows me to set pins on new sights based on a set up I know works. Took new bow to range last night, here is pic of my group at 20 yards,, wow...
  20. I used it on my shotgun on my first turkey hunt. Good stuff, definitely protected the barrel while crawling through the bush. But it started to seperate by the pump handle, not hard, not easy to get off. But with some WD-40 cleaned it nice. If protecting the gun from nature is a must, then it's definitely a good thing to have
  21. Cool, I pretty much a similar setup,, a nice size WMA about 30 minutes from my house, to hilly so no guns,, good turkey area, only one catch, black bear,, good luck and have fun...
  22. I got a great deal on a Rinehart, have had it for about 3 years and it's still doing good. Just to help, I keep it inside when I'm not shooting,, recommend Rinehart, pricey but good
  23. First, congradlations on what you lost, geat job!! I myself was pretty much in same boat, except I went the weight watchers way. Lost almost 75lbs. When pre-bow season came around, dusted off the bow, reset it for 65lb draw. Let me tell you I almost ripped my right shoulder. I spoke to a trainer, he claims sometimes many people focus on losing weight by combination if diet and cardio, leaving out the other muscles. The result is you can lose almost %50 of your upper muscle mass. After a about two weeks hard on the bowflex, I was able to get my strength back. I hear you about the glasses, it's a pain, but tolerable.. Good luck Ray
