I have used the steel case ammo for years in my AK's and SKS's. Of course, those guns were built around the use of that ammo. I had an incident about 10 years ago with the steel case stuff. The extractor tore the shoulder off the case and the shell was stuck in the chamber. A broken shell extractor is recommended if you are going to shoot steel case.

Only the last few years when ammo has gone through the roof, have I started using some of that wolf ammo, only for blasting and plinking in my AR's. For the serious shooting and hunting. As Handgunner said, consider the Black hills Blue box. I get great accuracy of of the Black hills blue box loads which are loaded with 50gr V Max bullets. The Lake City SS109 green tip is very high quality, but expensive.
