    Man oh man

I hear ya 100% Tim...My 95 K1500 Silverado has 176,000miles on it and burns a little oil and don't leak. It has been nickle and diming me a bit here and there. But as was mentioned...Still cheaper than a new truck payment. Besides I always thought old trucks are cool. The paint ain't all that great on it, but I am not afraid to get blood and scratches on it . The 10mpg I can do without...but it only gets used on weekends when I head up to the country. But...I too, drool at the ads in the paper with the 0% 72 month financing:rolleyes: Chevy is running. Ford is making some sweet rigs too and I really like how Dodge has made the bed of the pick up into a gun case/holder.

    American Pickers

They seem like nice guys. I have watched that show in the past and it always has me going through the basement afterward .
  12. Your quite welcome William. I have made a few friends on this BB and I count you as one of them. I did nothing for you I wouldn't do for a friend. Enjoy your wonderful home you have earned it.
  13. I remember that DVD quite well. We do not have TV at deer camp, just a DVD player and we have watched that episode at least 100x. Love Waddell when he says" 50 yards! 50 Yards and he can't hold it" after arrowing a good buck in Milk River. That is the one Waddell also took his girfriend (at that time) Ashley turkey hunting and she almost let the gobblers get away. Waddells saying...shoot 'em shoot 'em. Vato opened up his deceased sons room to get a guitar for Waddell to play. So Scott, the answer is Yes I remember the first Roadtrips show .
  14. A lot of sweat equity built there for sure. Looks great William. Wishing you and the family many many years of wonderful living there . Good Luck on your electrical inspection .
  15. I need a drooling smilie to really say how I feel . One sweet piece metal craftsmanship there Charlie. Enjoy it.
  16. Happy Birthday Christina .
  17. Yeah we had as much fun as you can have without killin' stuff . Always great seeing Tim. The weather was brutal for all of their travels. Glad they all made it home OK.
  18. Tim Andrus was in my neck of the woods booked for a few hunting seminars at a yearly outdoor expo and I had him and few of his... quite hungry friends over for dinner :clown:. Tim brought Steve Gruber of Wolf Creek productions and Deer City USA and Mark Millis also of Deer City USA over to my humble home for a home cooked meal of dynamic proportions. I cannot not thank my wife enough. She did it all . We had fresh Axis and Whitetail backstraps, Axis shish ki bob, mac n cheese, asparagus, steamed Chinese dumplings and biscuits. Plus a few tasty adult beverages . Then the wife broke out some apple and chocolate pie and we all were ready for bed after that . I wish I could have got a pic of all of us sitting around the table picking our teeth after the gorging...Classic. Having never met Gruber and Millis before. I found out they are just two regular guys from Michigan who love to deer hunt and are fortunate enough to eek a living doing it. They spend a ton of time on the road so I knew a good home BBQ would be a home run for them. I spent the day pruning apple trees and used some of those prunings to smoke the meat we ate. Tim was the usual ambassador of Realtree arriving with a bottle of wine for the Mrs. much appreciated Tim! Thanks! Always good seeing you. As far as pics...we didn't take any . No one remembered to do it. Bummer. Tim you are always welcome here in this house bud...But next time try not to bring such hungry friends with ya ...OK? :surrender:. Right now Tim is on a VERY hairy drive home in a nasty snow storm. I know he had to pull over it was so bad. Keep him in your prayers so he makes a safe journey home.
  19. Congrats! Big shoes to fill being a LEO...Be safe, above all. Good Luck.
  20. Passed a Mobil station this am leaving for work at 5am...it read $3.65(reg unleaded)...on the way home it read $3.75. Are we spoiled being used to cheaper gas prices> OR as such large consumers we should have a larger discount and pay less? With everything going up up up people have no more wiggle room to live. I gas up in New Jersey(bordering state) and pay about 40 cents less per gallon. I paid 3.24 for 89 this very morning, could have have paid 3.12 for regular. But I get better mileage with the 89.
  21. Congrats Team #1 You guys earned it with all them deer .
  22. Happy Birthday guys! Hope it was a great one!.
  23. Too bad we cannot feed to maintain the deer here in NYS . Those deer all look like they are in great shape after such a harsh winter. Cool pics. Thanks for sharing.
  24. Great pics Matt...Hmmm your beavers are out already? I need to check my swamp for ours.
