    Where were you...

That was 1990. I just graduated my electrical apprenticeship and was getting married later that year. Was living in my own apt and just paid off my first car.
  6. I only send you the important stuff Joe . I'll continue to keep you in the loop regarding this any any other hunting or archery related issue myself or NYB is working on. See NYB ain't THAT evil Please everyone in NYS...Write/call the Gov and tell him to sign this legislation! We need to get our kids in the woods sooner!
  7. No guts no glory Kyle...I applaud your effort to be close home to Cash and Jen. You are 100% correct about Cash not being young forever. Good Luck.
  8. Awwww...How cute! Welcome William Arthur Jr . Congratulations to you and the Mrs William. May the Lord continue to bless your family. Thanks for sharing the pics.
  9. Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk..... Good one Ross.
  10. +2! Even their ammo has been quite scarce and not many calibers availible. Maybe it is just the store I go to. I did how ever get a MONSTER deal, $265 for a Weatherby Vanguard in 7mm Mag, when they were closing out the last of their gun stock quite a few years back.
  11. Yup... that was blue water danger for sure. That could have been a real stinky situation Glad you are OK...
  12. John , that cable carries no voltage. So no need to worry about that if you cut it. If you do not want to cut it...roll it up, squeeze the roll and tape it so it is long and fasten it to the pole so it is out of the way. That is of course if you have a ladder or bucket truck to accomplish that feat.
  13. Thank you very much Shaun . My 06 corolla is about to break 100K and my K1500 has 176k on it now, so I was just wondering if I could help the motors stay healthier for a while longer. Thanks again.
  14. About how many miles should a vehicle have on it before you go up a weight in motor oil? I would imagine that the rings, cam, lifters and main bearing wear after time and a little heavier oil might be better for a engine with at least 100k on it. Most new or newer vehicles(4&6 cyl) suggest 5w-30. Would it help a engine at all to go up a weight in oil? I figure a heavier oil that would provide greater shear protection could only help for a high mileage motor. OR just stay with the OEM suggestion?
  15. Boric acid has worked for me in the past. Hope some of these remedies work for ya.
  16. Great buck Ross! Congrats. It looks awesome. Jake did a heck of a job. It is a small small world after all . From South Carolina to Virginia to New York. Jake Doty strikes again! I have known Jake for some time. About 7 years or so. He comes from a long line of Taxidermists in the family and his work shows it. I am about to send him a Black Squirrel to mount for us. Again Ross...Great rack and a very sweet mount.
  17. Great buy! That cartridge was quite young when that rifle was made. 1963 is when the 7mm mag made its debut. Nice and flat shooting. Good Luck with it!
  18. That truck is in great shape ! Good Luck with it. My 95 K1500 with 175k is still going strong. Gotta love them old chevys.
  19. Part of what I do is pull wire for a living. Knots and working with rope are a everyday thing. Bolins, squares and half hitches are the most used on the job for hoisting and wire pulling.
  20. Oh Wow.... That looks great! William! Just beautiful. Enjoy that home to the fullest. The best to you and the family .
  21. The evil NY Bowhunters:D is actively pushing this bill in in Albany. There was a e-mail alert a few weeks ago to write Sate Sen Grisanti and Sweeny on this issue. Which I did. BTW Joe...I am now a county rep for NYB .
  22. Good Luck with the new truck Tim. I see Realtree APG rocker panel covers on that in the near future . It helps with the chips. Enjoy the ride!
  23. That would be with Benjamin Franklin, of who I would discuss the wonders of air travel, his countless patents and inventions and of course...the Constitution.
  24. Man oh man did you guys have the Lord with you today... Glad it all turned out fine and you can laugh about it.
