  1. I picked up a Kansas lease! You need one more at a discounted price don't you??? Congrats! Have to draw a tag don't you?
  2. About time for a new phone iPhone. I was a skeptic forever. Broke down and bought the 4 in the fall. Wish I had had one forever
  3. Bow or Gun hunting Bow. Gun didn't make it out of the closet this past season and it won't next year.
  4. Social Media - Do you/Don't you I have a Facebook, but don't do anything on it and may check in once a day. I like twitter though. I keep up with everything through it, from sports to news to friends. Rarely tweet though.
  5. Hunting or Fishing Not even a question for me, hunting. I have a really nice pond with bass that are topping out around six pounds now, but it just doesn't do much for me.
  6. Realtree Forum Apps Available for iPhone and Android Just saw that there is an upgrade to the iPhone app. Seems to have worked out a few kinks I originally had with it.
  7. Sounds like it would be alot of fun for the regulars, not so much for the ones that aren't. I'm for it though.
  8. John, I thought the same, but try changing the criteria from "all content" to "forums".
  9. Have no idea why you left, but good to hear from you again. Hope all is well, Will!
  10. Just signed up for it. Looks pretty good and will probably increase my participation.
  11. I shoot 73 pounds and can easily draw it in any position so I'll stay in that range for several years I hope.
  12. Good looking birds Al! Their best bet is to leave the country with you chasing them!
  13. Sure is a good looking bow. Treat her right and I'm sure she'll do you the same.
  14. Wasn't able to upgrade my 8 pt, but did arrow one last doe yesterday morning. My season is over now. Enjoyed it gang!
  15. Hate that John. Congrats to him on the cull though
  16. Wrapped my season up yesterday morning at 9:30 when a group of does came through my setup. The lead doe spotted me in my tree at 5 yards, gave the ol head bob a few times and then walked directly away from me in an attempt to skirt me. At 20 yards she turned back on course and immediately received an arrow, as I had drawn as she walked away. Arrow hit her a touch high, but did the job as it sent her down on impact and she expired shortly after. Really enjoyed the season. Was the first I'd gone completely bow only, though I've been 95% bow only for 7 years now. After i got the early season juju off me, I ended up killing 3 does, a buck, and a coyote. Can't wait to be back in a tree in 8 months.
  17. Its been a fun past 12 days of bowhunting for me, as the onset of our rut is here. I've had a lot of bucks in bow range, including three that I gave the pass card to that were better than the deer I took yesterday, and a ~130 and 140+(twice) that had stepped into top pin range but I wasn't able to release an arrow any of the three times. I was in an arrow slinging mood yesterday though, and I was given fuel to my fire when this buck stepped into the clover/oat plot at 45 yards. He fed for a few minutes and then made his way to my tree to freshen a few scrapes. I was able to draw as he walked in, and sent an arrow through his vitals as he worked a scrape a mere 6 yards from the base of my tree.
  18. Took an 8 with the bow this evening. Have him entered already.
  19. I'm in Montgomery county, saw several bucks cruising first part of the week and the weekend. I think it'll get good midway through next week.
  20. Fly, you gotta learn to long arm a buck like that! Ha nothing wrong with him at all.... Congrats! I've been hunting my butt off since Saturday morning. 12-1, 3-dark the first three days. My target buck walked directly under my stand mid-day Sunday but I couldn't make it happen. He snuck in on me and I didn't take the chance of standing up, drew after he passed by but never quartered enough for me to slip an arrow in. Shot doe #2 this morning. Going to warm up and rain for a few days, then another cold front comes through. I look for the rut to break loose with that cold front.
