What did you do to that clover to get it so thick with no weeds?

Ive got a 3x9x40 banner on a 7mm-08. I like the scope, but personally I have moved on to Bushnells Elite series scopes. The 3200 are fairly reasonable and a great scope. But as far as the Banner, I have had no problem with it at all, I take that gun hunting all the time!

Is it better to go into a place you know there is a chance of jumping deer a good hour before sunrise or wait til there is enough light in the woods to see whats around you?

I was buying a gun every year there for awhile and well I have got out of the swing of things. I havent bought a gun in 3 years. I was at a gun show and saw a Remington 700 300 Ultra Mag RMEF (Rocky Mtn. Elk Found.) that I fell in love with on the spot. Well I plan on purchasing the rifle after Christmas and putting a Bushnell Elite on it, at least 50mm with 10x. What are your thoughts on the 300 Ultra Mags performance? And should I put a 3200 or 4200 Elite on it?

Check on common entrances that the deer use to your hunting location. We shot a deer 2 weeks ago during ML season in a field and found no blood anywhere in the field. Started walking along trails they use to come in the field and finally found a blood trail. Good luck with the tracking!

Ok I am getting ready to buy another gun in the near future and I know that I am going to put a Bushnell Elite on it. I have a 7mm mag. with a 3x9x50 FF Elite 3200 on it. I love this scope too. My question... is there that big of a difference between the 3200 and 4200 besides the price? Im sure the 4200 has some better features but are they that much better for the price?

So here in NC we finally got some rain last week and my clover has finally sprouted that I put out back in late September. Like I said it just sprouted and has pretty much just headed out, not really any height on it yet though. Question is, we are susposed to have below freezing temperature this week and I am pretty sure that will stunt its growth for the year...Will it survive until next spring since it is that young or do you think I will have to replant next spring?

I have actually set up a ground blind about 50 yards away from that tree that has my stand in it for that reason. Be a little hard shootin through the floor at that buck and plus I wanna keep the scent out of there. Quick question about that scrap...... Since there are 2 very nice mature bucks in the area of the scrap, do you think that puttin something like tarseal supreme or buck urine in the scrap would make the buck that created it move active on it since there are 2 mature bucks in the area? Or would doe urine or estrious work better. Rut comes in normally in about week to 2 weeks from now.

Lookin at the time on that pic, if you were in the stand you should have still had light to get him. Before the time changed last night, last light was around 7. But that is definately an older deer and I would say like everyone else 4.5.

-I have numerous pictures of bucks, with several shooters. -Ive helped several people drag their bucks out of the woods so far, and they talk about how early they came out and how many came out -And I have a scrape under a tree that I have one of my stands hanging in.... I know that I need to have patiences, but not seeing any of the deer I have pics of and everything else is getting me antsy..... I am making sure everything is right too when I hunt so I can increase my odds, but all the deer seem to be doing is laughing at me..... sorry I needed to vent and its been so long since Ive shot a buck because I have been trying to manage them.
