"Team 1" sounds like a good name to me. Pretty easy to spot us on the forum page. But I really dont care what name we are. Here is another pic of my deer. This guy came in and horned a fawn picking it up and throwing it about 4 feet. Also, chased off 2 does and tried to stab an 8pt in the chest before it made an escape. He was a bully and the most aggressive one I have ever seen.

From Tim, 2nd day, pulling SD cards and shooting the bow. Normally dont hunt mornings. Most deer movement is in the evenings and I dont want to pollute scent at the stand site risking puching off a shooter that is only showing during the evening.

Washington. We only get one deer in this state, so I am tagged out. I might hunt in South Carolina over Christmas for a day or two with Dad, but not sure. Doubt I will be able to upgrade the 9pt even if I get to hunt there.

Hi teammates...My season just ended. 1.5 hours after sun up, I killed my first deer in this state. Not the biggest or best, but he works for me this season. 9 points.

39 degrees this morning at the cabin. All packed up and heading out right after work today. Tomorrow is going to be a long day of nothing. Saturday morning I shall be in a tree. I can not freaking wait.

Buy a can for the 223. I have no idea what the laws are in your state but if they are now legal here after getting the permit, surely they are legal in any other state besides cali. Load them light, subsonic if you can and still hit 200 yards, and a can and shoot that thing out of your window. All of those rounds are going to put off a decent report, unless you do the 22lr subsonic. Im sure with enough range time you could hit out to 200 yards with it.

Set up a hunt for next year for me and a few others, if they want, to meet you somewhere in the west...North Dakota, South Dakota, wyoming, utah, etc, for an over the counter tag to hunt with you.

Let me know when you make it out this way and I will take you out. We get into some divers pretty good, but there are tons of puddlers around these parts as well. I am in the south central/eastern part of the state. On the coast they get into a lot of sea ducks and harleys. A diver hunt around where I am would be just setting up for puddlers and shooting the cans, redheads, ringnecks and bluebills with the option of shooting buffleheads and goldeneyes if you want to kill them, that come in. In the same hunt we will also hammer the mallards, pintails, wigeon and some teal.

I hate you. I wish they made one to replace my 90, that would push my 19' wareagle. But I dont think thier biggest one would push me to well. Congrats on the motor and getting everything ready before season. I'm pretty much all set up. Once Openeing weekend gets here I will take out the downriggers for salmon and put the blind on. With the track system, I can have the blind mounted in minutes. Other than that, there is nothing left to do. I restrung all my decoys in May when I was dreaming about opening day. Shot 40 boxes of shells at 4 cases of clays yesterday, gun is good. Dog is retrieving and swimming like a fool. What the heck am I going to do for the next month and a half.

It works better around here to just say "This is how it's going to be...." instead of trying to let everyone help you out in decision making. You do your thing and tell us how it's going to be. It will work best. 7 days and I will be in a stand at the cabin, so whatever team I am on, dont get annoyed when I dont check in on the 1st.

Just checked the weather. When I get into the stand Saturday morning it should be 44 degrees and the high will be 76. I'm all ready to go. Got the bow shooting good, arrows fletched and broadheads tuned. Clothes go in the washer this weekend. Boots have been sitting outside for the past week. Cooler is already in the bed of the truck. Heading up Thursday. Going to chop fire wood all day Friday to keep my mind off the woods and then Saturday morning, it's game on.

Yep, Had a 450LTR that I sold recently. After strike 2 with death flashing before my eyes, I figured it was time to sell it before the third strike. I live in the desert and have dunes seconds from the house. I have been eye ballin some new 450 dirtbikes though....

It's a good day on RT when I can reply/make fun of two post by two different folks with two words. Been a long day already, just a little amusement for myself.
