Great deer buddy! A year to the week I was there hunting with you guys! Where were you guys hunting?

Nice! Remind me in late season to take a 30 second video in my driveway of the geese that fly over the house. You will **** a brick.

Never been on such a quiet team. I would chat more, but my deer season has been over for 33 days now. You boys need to put some deer on the ground AND take a picture with your deer. Is everyone on the team still checking in and participating?

I'm alive. No dogs allowed in this state. No cougars this trip, only a bear and a wolf. Got word of a cougar 10 miles from where I was. Hoping to get some good snow in the next few months and start chasing tracks.

Tagged out 2 hours into Opening Morning (sept 1st) on a 9 pt. One and done in this state. Tagged out on bears as well. 2 tags left, 1 elk and 1 cougar. Going after cougar this weekend and elk at the end of October. Waterfowl starts Oct 13th. Ducks and Geese are going to die this year, tons of them!

I'm not scared, sheesh! Got most everything packed up. Hitting the road tomorrow mid day. 3 hour drive to the cabin and then an hour past that to the unknown where I will be hunting. I will try and take some pics and post when I get back....if I make it!

Welcome home. I sure wish youknew how to post pictures on here! I want to see the progress you have done since last year's pictures. Guess I will just have to head up there and see it myself soon.

Got Boone out for his first duck hunt this past weekend. At 10 months old, he did awesome. Still has a little problem trusting me on blinds, but he did amazing and I never had to leave the blind once for the 4 ducks he retrieved. It was the youth weekend and the hunter killed 4 insanely hard shots and missed every easy shot. Great day on the river.

3 wolves 45 yards behind me walking the road bed I was on. a bull moose walking in while I was in a bush. Stood up, he kept coming, talked to him, kept coming, crosshairs on his eye at 11 yards, kept coming, took 3 steps to the left and he walked over the bush and continued on. Cougar at 10 yards sitting down on a hill watching me 10 feet above me.

Whitetails 2, Tim 0. This early season hunts has humbled me. I have a break now for out of state hunts till OCt 20th then its back to Manitoba for muzzleloader. NY bow starts Oct 1st.
