  1. Absolutely stunning Anthony, and you're right, those are the type pics you would swear were photoshopped, but sometimes you just get a perfect shot. Can't imagine how humbling it must be to work there. Keep the pics coming, always enjoy them!

    Lilly is tired!

    Ewwwwwww..........
  3. No doubt Al. That crap only looks good in theory at this latitude.
  4. Why we're all so fat down here. Last night it was fresh cut corn, pork chops, fresh fried okra, peas, and okra. Pound cake and cornbread in the oven, plus sliced tomatoes out of the garden. Tonight it's new potatoes for potato soup, fried green tomatoes, cornbread..... and..... wait for it....... wait.... ok... kids went out to pick blackberries..... so Cobbler time. I need a new zip code to lose weight when you can get fat just picking stuff in the back yard. Oh yeah, tomorrow is fresh squash and tenderloin, already got it thawing. :eat:
  5. Real nice pics Don. Ain't that the powerline shot where you guys shoot every year?
  6. Oh I'm sure she knows by now.

    Weekend plans???

Sorry Joe but that sounds like something out of Happy Gilmore.
  8. Welcome to the forums both of you! Best advice I can give is to find someone to mentor you a bit. Get a shooting buddy and you will gain invaluable help with your form, equipment, shooting advice, shot placement, and so much more. You don't need to spend a ton of cash on equipment either, just a well tuned set-up and you'll be ready to smack one and be hooked for life.

    Car GPS?

Getting lost is one of the trip's little pleasures Ruth. (I whip out the phone also)
  10. Happy Birthday Blade! Hope you have a great one!
  11. Just a natural technological extension of what's already been done for years now, should come as no surprise. Drones are here to stay, you can count on that.
  12. Nope, no worries about rotting either, just gotta keep it from being stolen and sold for scrap. Folks down here are stealing scrap metal left and right, hit my company for over 5 tons last week.

    Spring bear down

Well done Ben! Nice thick coat. Whatcha gonna do with him now?
  14. Too dang hot here, about 93 and climbing. Finished wiring a barn for a neighbor, cut mother in laws grass, got remodel work to do at home. Will sprinkle in some food and cold ones later. Thanks be to those who have served to allow me to do what I do and I don't have to speak German while doing it!
  15. Yeah I thought about that after I posted William, that's probably the route I'll take. Thanks.
  16. Great post Martin! A big thanks to all of you serve and have served!
  17. Matt, or one of you H2O technicians, I am ripping out an old bath/shower and have to replace my old delta rough-in. Need advice, I really would like to avoid soldering, that would involve digging up my water line and installing a new valve (my old gate valve will not shut off 100%). Wondering about shark bites and pex to feed the new valve? The new valve has male threads, so I dont have to sweat it. Advice would be appreciated. If it would be easier over the phone PM me your # and I will give you a ring. Got to make the pilgramage to Lowe's here shortly and would be nice to get all the material there since it's a 60 mile round trip. Thanks in advance! PS- here's the existing valve
  18. Sounds like a blast. I would substitute beer and crawfish though.
  19. Yep. I see lots of them that say to call for pricing over 180" but you been net it's over 20k. Interesting reading I thought though.
  20. Nice Lewis, always good to catch a break from time to time!
  21. Prices have fallen sharply here in the 3.30's or even less now. I think it's because our ball season wraps up tomorrow and the market knows I won't be driving so much.
  22. Wish I had an answer for you William. I would suggest trying an appliance forum (there are some excellent ones out there) but sure sounds like a problem with the touch panel. Many appliances today have diagnostic codes the techs use that can be displayed by entering a sequence of key entries. I would start there. Unfortunately the price you pay vs the reliability of a product are not directly proportional, I can tell you a hundred stories about my parents Kitchenaid problems which is supposed to be top of the line.
  23. Not quite sure, use the "completed listings" feature on Ebay and see if you can find something similar.
  24. Part of the trick I've found out is to go heavy on the seasoning after they are cooked too and dumped in a cooler. The seasonings will melt in and find its way through the shell and add lots of flavor.
