  1. Yes, you can and yes I do. I've got four ROSS Cardiacs with two of the set up for hunting at 67# and two fo them for tournaments set at 60# These bows are identical with the exception of the rest and the poundage. I use a WB for hunting and have Golden Key Premiers for tourney's, I use GT X-Cutters for my tournaments and CX Maxima Hunters for hunting. All of my bows are set up within 6 fps of each other so the pin gap stays the same from bow to bow and I don't have to do any readjusting for myself when hunting season comes around. I know that not everyone has the luxury of having extra bows, but I came across great deals on these bows when ROSS and G5 were having their fallout. I hated for years to switch from tournament set up to hunting set up so close to the season, so I swore I'd always have two different bows but set up the same.
  2. Sounds like you did have a good weekend and who cares if the wife could care less? lol Its just another toy to her but its a lot of fun and some good times with you and the girls. Enjoy and be safe!
  3. I love the reptile's, I used to have a ton of them when I lived on my own from Boa's, pythons, savanah monitors, and a varity of rat snakes. My friends always told me I didn't have to worry about no one breaking in since I had 13 aquariums filled with snakes and lizards. LOL Those common brown water snakes are a beautiful snake, love those colors when they shed, very vivid.
  4. Hello and welcome to the forums.
  5. Beautiful snake and have caught many of them. It just goes to show how people can mistake them for a copperhead with those markings, it doesn't look like its to far from shedding either, very dull in color. I chase one of those boogers at the lakes I grew up at for three years trying to catch him, he was huge. Pushing around 4 to 5 feet, closest I got was two hands on him and he was half down a hole, didn't want to hurt it so I let him go. LOL Great pictures!
  6. Archery Talk Check out ArcheryTalk.com inthe classifeds, there is a guy on there that is a dealer and sells them at a great price. He has all colors and sizes of blazers you want, he will pretty much bet any price out there.
  7. Great shooting there Leo! Also, only if everyone had that same mentality on their misses or bad shot placement.
  8. Yep, but bows come first and if that doesn't work we've got really big guns to back them up! LOL BB stands for big barrels! :2guns:
  9. I come from the bottom up and let the pin settle on the target I am shooting, squeeze the trigger, and follow through. a good follow through is essential for making a good shot.
  10. be sure and post up some pictures when its home and safe!:1eye:
  11. Very beautiful mount, I 'm sure you are anxious to get it home and set up.
  12. I know a lot of my friends that use the Alpine Soft Lok and love it. Very quiet, easy to use and doesn't dull the blades. I've got a hip quiver with foam in it and the blades are just fine and sharp.
  13. Happy Birthday Cash!!!!! It hard to believe he is all ready one year old Kyle. congrats Buddy!
  14. Yep, that sux right there-I don't care who you are. I've never known a Post Office either, that wasn't open or accessible to the boxes 24/7. Sorry to hear that Kyle- I know your pakcages could have a load of ***** in them. LOL j/k I hope you get it figured out soon, buddy.
  15. It could be the packing inside the target as well. 3-D targets do this, my looper target does it and it's all from the consistancy of the target material. I've had arrows turn completely sideways in a target to in a 3-D target. If its not the same arrows everytime.
  16. I can't wait to watch them myself. I didn't kill a buck last year so I should be foaming at the mouth watching these big guys take a dirt nap.
  17. Holy Cow!:jaw: That is a big bruin! Congrats! I am going to do that next year for my graduation gift to myself. Awesome job!
  18. I've shot a few clubs that were IBO. The only real differences are center 12's and they'll allow 6 grains for pound on regulations for your set up. I've even had them measure draw weight, arrow weight, and speed to check it all out.
  19. Welcome to Realtree, FD78! Glad to have you herre and hope to share a lot of stories and tips with you.
  20. Finally! Well, I finally got to get back on a course yesterdaya nd it felt good. I started out a little shaking on the first ten targets, (could have because of the extra refreshments I had the nite before-ugh) with two 5's. I got squared away and put my mind into it and began a 12 ring vengance. It was a pretty tough course but ended up shooting a 244 on 2 targets. I shot 7 12's, 5 8's, and the two 5's. Both five were on 30 yards targets and that really chaps my butt I did that. Regardless, it was good to get on the course and shoot. I've got another one next weekend, its another circuit shoot and I'll be ready to go.
  21. 2009 Nissan Titan and it basically gets 15 to 17 MPG's no matter what I do or pull.:1eye:
  22. According to their web site, the weight forward technology is added to the Maxima Hunters as well as the Aramid-KV Hunters and not to the standard Maxima's.
