Baw Ha Ha Ha Ha:clap: Better than beer goggles, it makes you walleyed!:clown: I prefer the Pond Lite, though.

Just give me a case of Miller Lite and am happy. we've got ALL kinds ofmicro brewery"s around here in Western NC and some of them will actually turn you against beer. when I went to Germany, I got hooked on Heffe Weissen brew and was happy to find out that it is sold in the U.S., still doesn't taste the same as over there though.

Looks like a female wolf to me, but if the DNA test show its a yote then its a yote. I've never seen a yote with a white and gray muzzle and the size of the feet on that thing give me the impression as well of a wolf. I hope for the hunters sake it is a yote because of wolves being protected, it'll be very interesting to find out the conclusion of this story.

Great post Kyle, and a lot has happened over the last 11 years since I've been a member/mod on here. I can remember when myself, Tominator, Spikekiller, wtnhnt, Niels, and a couple of others that were some of the first few on this sight in the beginning and then being asked to become a Mod. We've all seen memebers come and go, lost some wonderful members to tragities in life, members quit from being on RT to much, shared marriages, births of children, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations from high school and college, and most of life's everydays ups and downs but still keep going on here in RT forums. This place has been a huge part of my life and I give thanks to alot of you that I may never meet in life but look forward to reading about on here everyday. . My kids have gone from little squirts to highschoolers driving now and soon to be graduating. I'm still a member of the scrub buck nation that spikekiller started many moons ago and makes me chuckle everytime I think about it. Everyone on here is a member of probably the largest family we'll ever have and sharing our lives with eachother is part of this forum as well. I'm really looking forward to another 11 years and more on here and looking back to reminise about the last 22 years. Personally, I got a tough time ahead coming up and will come to light soon that I will need some help with from my family on here at RT. Again, thank you all for everything that you do and may not realize it. Realtree is where its at!!!!

Congratulations on a fine Doe and some success.

I have used Muzzy heads since I started bow hunting in 1992. I started out with the 100 grain heads, to be honest why I started using them it was because of all the video's with Dan Fitzgerald and the success he had with them. I haven't looked beack since. I have tried a couple of other heads like the G5 Tekans and the Rage 2 heads killng a couple of deer each with them. I love the design of th eTekans but didn't like the entryhole I got with them and the Rage has it's pro and con's as well, to many to get into. Muzzy is well established, well built and I've had great success with them, I switched to the 75 grain heads in 2000 because of an accuracy or consistancy issues witht he 100 grian heads. I'd have a flier or two out of each 6 pack I got with them. Using the 75''s I sacraficed 3/16 of an inch on cutting diameter but that didn't slow down the deer falling to the Muzzy head. Bloodtrails didn't deminish either, I've had great blood trails with the exception of hitting deer high and you get that with any head on the market. i've taken over 30 deer with the 75 grain heads, busted through shoulder bones and still had pass throughs, the accuracry and consistancy of the heads right out of the pack is awesome. With the introduction of the new MX3 head and a 3/16 cutting diameter I can have the cutting diameter of the 100's back again but I doubt very seriously I will use them. Since I have over 50 of the original 75 heads and I see no reason to switch.

Awesome Buck! Congrats to your Uncle.

Hello Andrew and welcome to the forums. Glad to hear you are getting into bowhunting hard and heavy. Just like ruttnbuc has said, move or follow your arrow with the sight adjustments. You will be able to do this as a gand adjustment to begin with but after you get the first pin set, the others will be easy by just moving them up and down. I am assuming that you will set your pins at 20, 30, 40 yards, start out with the 20 yard pin and get that adjusted in, then worry about the others. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask.

I will do that when I get some. My brother uses ST's and with great success but I still don't like the steep angle on the blades. I doubt bery seriously I will convert over to them since I have had so much success with the orignials. Just something new I want to try out.

I'm not worried about the speed and I used the 100's for several years then made the switchin 2003 to the 75's. I only lost 3/16" of an inch in cutting diameter going to the 75's and only gain 7 fps, no big deal. I've taken out both shoulders with these heads as well, I am a true Muzzy fan and will always have them in my quiver. The primary reason I did was the inconsistancy of the heads shooting witht he 100's versus the 75's. I would always have a flier or two with the 100's. I want to disspell any of, "My arrows or bows weren't tuned properly". that isn't the issue at all. My bows are the first priority and arrows are second, I take great care in setting up my bows and my arrows so to be sure everything is square, cut clean and flush, no cam lean, tiller is set, timing is set, peep rotation and all. As for the killing difference between the two heads, not an issue. I've taken 34 deer with the 75's and they are just as dead as with a 100 grain head. If the 3/16" makes that much of a difference on killing I can gain that baack with the new MX3 since the 75's have a 1 3/16" cutting diameter. I am only asking if anyone has tried them or planning on trying them, the MX's are alot like the Slick Tricks with the blade angle and those are some great heads too. I can't really switch over comletely to the MX3's because I am the original 75 head poor. I've got over 50 of them and the price on these new for three is outragious. I might get a pack just to see how the difference, if any is besides the cutting diameter.

I currently shoot the original 75 grain heads, do you currently have or plan on trying these new heads out? I will get a pack of these and see if they fly better, worse, or the same as my original heads. If you have all ready got these, please give me some information on them. I know alot of folks have been using the MX 3's and 4's with not many if any complaint's. Thank you.

Muzzy Phantoms are a great selection for recurve shooters. If you decide against them, i'd still stick with a cut on contact broadhead since your not going to be getting 270 fps out of it.

Here some pictures of my man cave. All of the Euro's are bucks from Ohioy big 10 is from Ohio as well. The empty spot to the right is waiting for my 8 point I killed this year. The small 6 point is my first buck and bow kill from 94, the 8 point is from 96 I got in Georgia. The two fish are a cobia and a queen trigger fish I caught in the gulff stream. My bobcat I got in Georgia with my rifle. yes, i have to big screens in my cave, on eis for me and the other is my son's to play his Xbox on. the final two pictures are from my side of the garage, the arrows on the board withthe exception of the 7 on the bottom are arrows I have killed bucks with. I retire them for bucks only and salvage the Doe arrows back into the quiver.

Here is my best mount I got done in 2003, it cost 365.00 and I've got another coming from the same taxidermist for the 8 point I killed this year. I will post pictures of him when I get it back. I also have some pictures of the mounts I had done in 94 and 96 in the lounge under the Man Cave photo's.

Hey brother, don't be bummed. None of this was intended to hurt your feelings but rather give you a better insght to any further mounts you will get. Go to the other two shops and look at their work, even take your mount in there to compare to their mounts. It's no so much the price of the mount you paid for it, it's the time it took to get it back. Good quality work can't be rushed especially on a something of this nature. Even if this guy is just starting out, it still shouldn't have only taken three weeks to get your mount back to you. I've paid 235 for two mounts I've gotten done and they took 6 months to get back. Again, don't be bummed and just use all in the informaiton you've gotten to hold some standards for your next mount.
