That tells the whole story to me. They were looking for another reason to can her and she provided it.
People get fired everyday, and she is no different. If she had been an exceptional employee, without any problems, I feel sure she would not have been fired. Good employees are just to hard to come by. Plus they had already given her a week off and she was supposed to return to work on Monday. No show, no call, bye bye.
The only reason this is being discussed is because her husband is in the service. I have the utmost respect for him and all others that defend this country, but those of us that don't still have a job to do, and the companies we work for depend on us to do those jobs. If they can't depend on an employee, they no longer need that employee.
I imagine, like I believe Popgun said, through the media coverage she gets over this, not only will she find a better job, but Oprah will probably put her on TV to tell how bad of an injustice has been done to her.
