Congrats Mike on getting to the final 2...put my vote in today....

That would not go away? Last night was one of those times...I don't get them often but driving home from the hospital, it started. Don't know if it was from 3 hours of staring at a computer screen (training we were doing) or because the room was so hot. I got home, took 2 Tylenol. Well it didn't help one bit...Later took 2 aspirin....that did not even help. I finally called it quits and went to bed. Had it the entire night...Got up this morning to go to more of this computer training and still had it, not quite as bad. So a hot shower, 2 ibuprofen, a multivitamin and 1 banana later and it has stayed gone. Wasn't a migraine but it was pretty annoying.

I know dbHunter...I feel like by the time we get to hunt, we've hit peak breeding and we miss some of the good early stuff... I have yet to get out and really scout/pinpoint some birds but will maybe try tomorrow morning if weather is ok

Glad to here he pulled through...prayers for a continued recovery. He is in the Lord's hands and plans.

Agreed...I saw it and while it was not a bad movie...and intense,lol, I don't see where it deserved Best Picture.....

I took a walk this AM at 7:30...was going to beat the sunrise but couldn't get to sleep last night so I turned the alarm off. Anyway nice morning, cold and little breezy. Made my way around the property, glassing the fields. Headed to check my trail cam...saw one lone hen out in a field. Get to my cam and fresh scratchings just to the right....guess that hen (hopefully more than just her though)just missed catchinge trigger on the cam. Had lots of deer photos though. Re-set the cam, same spot and continued on. Didn't see much in the way of turkey sign though up on the old gravel put I did find a big fresh turkey turd in the shape of a folded over J sooooo....And I don't think geese have been up there...sometimes there poo looks the same IMO. So there's a gobbler hanging around somewhere I'm guessing, I just hope they are hanging over on the property I hunt. Might try getting up tomorrow AM and checking out the state land...Would like to locate some birds there just in case.

Congrats on a long awaited nice gobbler! I know, I went about 4 years without putting a tag on a bird...it's rough for some reason with turkeys, but what a feeling when you break the drought!

Well seems to be we are experiencing an increased number of natural disasters so to speak each year...The Bible tells us the facts. And that "any God" is not just "any"...it is God and God alone and it seems that what He tells us in the Bible is coming..... I'm not worrying about it....can't stop what God has already put into motion.

That's what I did Tom...mine said 13-13-13 but we had 10-10-10 at home so I just used that....

WOW jerdan...!!! Well couple years ago I found 2...had no idea there were any even around. Never seriously looked for them but might drive over and take a peek today....Would love to find a couple...they were so delicious....My mom is a mushroom fanatic anyway....lol

Thanks. I am back home, an hour and a half in the chair. Numbed again, wellwearing off now. They ground down the tooth, almost 1/2 down I think. Also did something like lazer/cauterize some of the gum tissue...yuck. Have a temp. crown on for now. Go back May 11 for the real crown. Until then, have to eat with like one side...Sure has been a fun last 2 appointments,lol.

Nice photos and beautiful birds! That's what I'm trying to get now are the turkeys, going to go check my cam now, see if they've showed yet since last I checked 5 days ago...
