  1. FIVE boxes. What the heck is the limit up there:pacman: good luck buddy!
  2. 2000mg of fish oil a day. Most fish oil capsules are 1000mg so the dog will need two if they are the 1000mg.

  6. How big is your dog? For dry skin with no other skin disease (fleas, infection), fish oil is the best OTC supplement you can give them. I'll tell you how much when I get a weight.
  7. dang--those look bigger than most the bucks you kill:disolve: congrats on the triple little lobster man!!! todd
  8. God is Good!!! awesome buddy!!!! todd
  9. see what you have a little later in the season. You might just have a nice bachelor group hanging around which gives you more buck pics. I wouldn't take out more younger bucks to try to fix the ratio. If you are truely short on does then don't shoot any for a few years and stick with nice mature bucks. todd
  10. nice lookin' lab Dakota. Force fetch the next one and the dog will retrieve whatever you tell her to.
  11. nutrition and attraction all winter long unless they get eaten to the ground.
  12. congrats---don't need chest waders. You need a good dog!! todd
  13. If the injection is given correctly the dog is completely anesthetized before the last amount of solution is given and should be gone within a minute. Extremely humane. If the bullet is well placed it is humane but unfortunately a lot of times it is not well placed. I had a client that wanted to euthanize his own dog at home. He overdosed his dog on a large amount of sleeping pills. He held the dog until the dog was gone. He wrapped the dog in a blanket and placed it in the kitchen. Checked for a heart beat and no breathing. He said goodbye and kissed the dog. He went to bed--the next morning he awaken by his dog licking his face. Said he screamed as he thought it was a ghost. good luck with your decision and sorry!!! todd
  14. I can't tell you the number of times I've forgotten to turn the camera on. Two weeks ago I put a camera up on a mineral lick. Checked it this weekend and had over 50 triggers. Went to pull the card out and guess what--NO CARD! Forgot to put it in. It is stored in the camera's memory but didn't want to bring the camera home to look at them.

  20. Got invited by a friend for a goose hunt. We were staked out on a small pond in the middle of a huge wheat field. My buddy and scouted them using the pond after morning feed. Around 11:30 they finally decided to show up. We let a large group land and then decided to take them. Mostly snows with a few Canadas mixed in. I wanted a snow goose to mount so I only aimed at the snows. With my 3rd shot I had white goose veer to my right. the goose dropped and Belle retrieved. After she brought it back i discovered the jewelry. There were lots of snows dropped but I was 100% sure I dropped this one as I was the only one who shot in that area. I went to my buddy and told him I shot a banded snow (or at least thought it was a snow). He has hunted this area for many years and has never shot a banded goose. i told him he could have the bands but I wanted to mount. He of course said "You shot it so it's your bands". Double banded Ross Goose with a $45 money band: todd
