This was second only to waiting on Farve to make a decision! Getting to be a popular thing with the big athletic stars. I think this will become a trend for the future of sports. Builds excitement. Poor Cleveland!

Would have love to see Burton get that win. He was screwed staying out but at least he paid Kyle back!

I just hope he can stay healthy. Would be sad for him to have Kerry Wood issues!

I know it was against the Pirates but wow... this kid looks awesome. 14 K's in 7 innings. He looks like the real deal to me!

He can do this and other things to make the NFL look bad but Pete Rose can't get in the Hall in MLB... makes you wonder...

I use #5 shot as well. Killed my gobbler this morning with #5 Heavy Shot at about 40 yards. Dropped him in his tracks without flopping a wing!

Finally I've shot another gobbler. I think it's been 10 years since the last one. Last night I watched 3 gobblers and 4 hens in my food plot and told my wife if they roost to the right side of the field I'm hunting in the morning. Well that's what they did so this morning I walked out across the field on the opposite side and set out a hen decoy. Got set up and waiting for more light. Hit the call a couple times and one of the hens answered me followed by a gobble. They were right in front of me and close! Some crows flew over and made him gobble again. Few minutes later I watch him pitch out the tree and land about 60 yards to my right in the field followed by another gobbler. (You won't believe this but I set up within 50 yards of this turkey in the tree and didn't know it). Well he sees the decoy and slowly is making his way across the field to it. He's about 40 yards now and I'm waiting for a couple more steps. It looks at me then the decoy and he starts looking spooked. I had to move my gun around a little tree and decided to take the shot right then... BOOM.... turkey drops without flapping a wing. #5 Heavy Shot did the trick. This is the first bird I've taken in a very long time. It wasn't a real long hunt but plenty exciting. My heart was beating out my chest when I had that bird coming in. I'm pumped!!! First turkey on my family's property too!

He sucked when I had him... a lot of guys picked up after I dropped them... that's my luck! This year will be different though!

That would still be an improvement from last year!
