We haven't had a poll in a while so I figured I would seek your opinions on something I am debating with others.
Here in New York we offer youth hunt weekends where kids (ages 12-15) can get out before the adults do for regular season. We offer youth weekends for deer, turkey, pheasant and waterfowl. During these hunts, adults with hunting licenses but NO guns themselves mentor young hunters.
So here is my poll question for all of you. Feel free to comment.
Should the mentor on a youth waterfowl hunt (who cannot carry a gun into the field) be required to purchase a $25 duck stamp and register with the Feds to get a HIP number?
