I noticed that your boy won. He's having a solid year so far. I flipped to the race a few times to see what was happening, but honestly I can't stand the intermediate 1 1/2 mile tracks.

I looked while I was turkey hunting last weekend and didn't find a single shroom. Places I have found them in the past pretty consistently there was nothing. Maybe nights have still been a little cool.

Usually I replace mine when they start fraying pretty bad or the serving separation gets bad. A good string that's waxed regularly should easily last a few years.

Probably not me. I would like to upgrade my Mission Journey, but have too many other things that the funds need to go to. I'm hoping next year I can swing it.

I like that 1100 Fly. Out of curiosity what does one of those run? I've been kicking around the idea of getting a slug gun for my kids, but my daughter is pretty small for her age (10). I think she'll use my muzzleloader during youth season this year so I can cut back on the powder a little.

I think I'm in the same boat. Not all sleds have reverse and there might not have been a way around it. I don't think I would want to turn my back on it either. I do agree that a few warning shots might have been enough to make the moose leave.

Probably just the usual stuff for me.....a few arrows and a pack of broadheads. Maybe a new target that will stop my daughters crossbow bolts. I picked up a nice ladder stand on sale from Menards last month.

It's been happening a lot around here too. So far so good for us though. I believe that our water lines have to be down 4'.

I watch a little of the downhill stuff and bobsledding. Hockey is what I follow the most...even been watching some of the women's games.

I am not. I was a member years ago, but got sick of constantly getting hounded about renewing. I think I was only two months into my membership and was already getting phone calls to renew or upgrade my membership.

I had my camera out for two weeks and didn't get a single picture of a deer. Things are going to be slow around here for the next few years.

Man, that is very cool. I don't watch their show as much as I use to, but they seem like great people.

The kids had another snow day yesterday because of the cold. They're up to 7 days off now , and it's supposed to be colder next week so I imagine there ill be more to come.

The winter this year reminds me of the winters when I was a kid. It seems like every 2 or 3 days we get a few inches of snow, then it warms up a bit and melts. I know the kids love it because they've already had 6 snow days counting todays. This weekend I'm going to try and get the skates out for a little pond hockey.
