LOL no doubt. Them year GM trucks are all noisy. That is what I was trying to get at unless I misunderstood Williams post. If the whining stops when it acts up maybe the fuel pump is the cause.

Man, normally I'm pumped for the season to get here. It's tough to get motivated this year though. Usually this time of year I'm scouting, hanging stands, shooting every other day, checking trail cameras, and getting food plots ready. It's been so hot here (105 here right now) I haven't done any of that. We haven't had rain in two months, so i doubt I'll even put any plots in this year.

Hmmm. So the fuel pump does not whine when it does this? I did have a buddy that had a Chevy truck with the 4.3, and his fuel pump would occasionally not work. I'm wondering if that could be your problem.

I'm with you. I'll take a good late model or modified race over NASCAR anyday. I have been to Gateway for the NHRA drags a few times. I don't really follow it, but it is a pretty cool event to see live.

LOL Not at all,man. Thinking of cool fall mornings is the only thing that gets me through days like this. 108 here yesterday and supposed to be a little higher today. The 7 day forecast doesn't have a high below 100. I legitamantly hate summer. I seriously like nothing about it. I wish I could talk the wife into moving to Alaska.

Just weight training for me. I never was much of a runner. I hit the heavy bag and practice soccer and ball with the kids, that's enough cardio for me.

I don't watch much NASCAR anymore, but it's good to see JR back in victory lane. I would like to see him win a championship or two.

I feel you, man. Been over 90 here for about 2 weeks now. The next 5 days are supposed to be around 95. On top of that we are pretty much in a drought. I've only had to cut my grass about 5 or 6 times so far. Fall can't get here soon enough!

I played 9 holes with my wife for the first time in about 8 years on Saturday. I made a few nice shots. One triple bogie killed me. Had one bouble bogie, and bogied the rest of the holes. I was real close to parring two holes, but my putting let me down.

I had a CJ5 years ago that I semi restored. Basically it was stock, just put on some new sheet metal, paint, seats, brake system, and bumpers. I would love to get a Wrangler just for a play toy and weekend cruises. A 4" lift and some 33's would be sweet.

Truck looks sharp! That tread pattern should be decent enough to handle most off road situations.

I have to agree with this. It use to be so frustrating when I cared more and voiced my opinion on certain issues. It didn't matter what I said it always fell on deaf ears....and still does. I learned that right or wrong, management is going to do what they want. Now I keep to myself, do my job, and only give my ideas or opinions when asked. It's unfortunate because I went from someone with a drive to wanting to see the company succeed, to just some dude with a job. I can't quit either...I've been here 14 years and no way I could start someplace new making what I do here.

Biggest buck I've passed was about a 130". It happened last year, and the only reason I passed on him was that I shot a buck that looked like his twin two weeks earlier. On top of that I had seen a 160 in the area a few times that I was holding out for, but he never came into bow range. Normally I would not pass a deer like that though.

I've been to the range a few times and played 18 two weeks ago. Shot a 102 with 2 pars. Not too good, but could've been worse for my first time out in about 6 months. I'm going to try and get out at least once a month this summer.

It hasn't really gone down down here much. It's been holding around $3.80 a gallon for a month or two now. It's still too much though. I think the "powers that be" finally realized that this economy cannot handle $5 a gallon gas. I think prices will fall slightly as the election gets closer, but not enough to swing too many more votes Obama's way. I do agree with you...somewhere along the line Obama will take credit for the lower prices even though he hasn't done squat.

Kings and Rangers are up early. I don't think the Coyotes will have much for the Kings, but the Devils and Rangers I could see going 7.

Man...sorry to here that Jeremy. I know it's never easy. My Grandma is dealing some serious health issues now also, and it tears me up to see her suffering. My condolences to your family.

I've got a 13 year old beagle. I used him for rabbit hunting when he was younger, but lost my spot quite a while ago. He is definately hard headed, but really I couldn't ask for a better dog. He's perfect with the kids, and even at 13 still has the energy to chase them around the yard. He pretty well listens to me, but pretends he's deaf when my wife tries giving him comands. ( Sometimes I do that too though lol.) It will be a sad day when he finally calls it quits.

Good deal Shaun! I know you've put quite a bit of work into it. Man, 20+ mpg is great for that set up. What kind of gears are in it?

I've seen several 2wd pre runner style street trucks that look pretty sharp. Unless you plan on taking it off road or need extra ground clearance I don't think I would mess with it.

Maaah. I don't really care for the Rangers or Caps. I'm hoping for the Devils to win the East. I would like to see the Coyotes beat the Kings in the West. Not that I really care for the Coyotes, but I have a hard time rooting for the Kings after they swept the Blues. After struggling through the regular season, the Kings are a legit contender.
