Here in NYS we are starting 2 weeks earlier. The southern zone usually starts on Oct 15th. So this year NYS so zone hunters got a gift from DEC. We will be starting on Oct 1st. More opportunity. That should make quite a few happy with the tag prices.

I wasn't crazy about the arm either. I have always opted for fixed loans. But for me it will make sense. I am looking to pay off the house in a short time. I am borrowing less than 100k, and in 7 years...my balance will be about 40k. With the ARM they can raise the borrowing rate once the 7 year fixed rate, of 3.125 is over. Then whatever the Libor is will dictate. With such a low balance...If it goes to 8% big deal or I can re fi again.

Hey guys...The rates are pretty dang low and it is a great time to consolidate any loans and save some dough on the mortage payment. I just went from 5% to 3 1/8% in a 7/1 arm. Did a little cash out and paid off the wifes truck also. Will get my closing costs back in the first year of the mortgage. I used Chase this time around. Good credit and low debt are necessary. Just something to consider while the rates are so low. How much more can you expect rates to go down to where it will not be worth the banks to lend?

Your gonna love this everyone... I take the plates off and retire my 95 silverado last sunday. Left it at country house...Son AJ goes to MV to transfer registration on Tuesday to the pristine 2000 one owner Honda Accord. He saved all last year to buy. All went well... Exactly 118 miles and two days later...POW! He gets slammed by a woman who blew a stop sign. The whole nose is wrecked. Lexus 570 vs a Honda Accord. Lexus wins. No injuries to either party. So it is not a question of " if " they'll get in a accident...the question is when. Can't wait to see what my rates will go up to now. Just by being there you get assesed a percentage of blame. Just glad they are OK. Oh...BTW...my youngest son Michael was in the car with him also.

Ticks are bad here also...I have been wearing rubber boots in the woods to combat the ticks. Get a bunch on me while I've been picking berries the last few weeks.

William... I have 4 vehicles. 1500 04 Ram, 95 K1500 Silverado, 06 Corolla and a 07 Trailblazer. Full coverage on the corolla and blazer. With Allstate 25 years, no accidents, no tickets...$3255 per 6 months. Only my son Joe(20) is listed on the policy so far. I am ready to add my son AJ(18) on the policy and get rid of the silverado for AJ's honda accord. Will do that next week. I'll let you know of the increase or decrease. But for me...I live in a populated area with lots of drivers. So I can see how my premiuims would be high. My son Joe kicks up $50/week for his Ram trucks insurance. Girls are usually treated as lesser risks.
