As one with student loans I'm curious to find out what exactly they are planning to do. I briefly caught something on the news last night but it didn't get specific. Anyone know any info on this?
I find it ridiculous that they think they can predict how much this "reform" is going reduce the deficit over 2 decades. Which one of them has the crystal ball? So much for not raising taxes on the middle class.
Just found out yesterday that I didn't get drawn for a WI bear tag which makes 6 years and counting now. I'm pretty bummed out as I was really thinking this was going to be the year and we have a really good bear population where I hunt.
It sure is great to be golfing in March. Although I somehow development a hook/pull during the off season and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Going to go play again this afternoon to see if I can get my slice back.
I hope the attorneys general who are filing suit against this so called "reform" get this pushed to the supreme court. Forcing people to purchase something can't be legal.
There have been some crazy endings so far. The big east has killed me though as I had Marquette and G'town in the sweet 16. Oh well still got to love March Madness.
Just saw my first one of those last week while checking on ice conditions. The guy had a pump that pulled all of the syrup into a little shack. It was pretty cool to say the least although I like the old school method of putting buckets all over the trees myself though.
This winter we logged off about 160 acres with a mixture of select and clear cuts. I've been out there twice since and have literally seen more deer than I could count which is quite amazing considering how low our overall deer numbers have been. Now that the operation is over I'm just wondering how long they will stay around feeding on the browse? Anyone have any ideas? I'm guessing with spring coming in that they will have other things to eat but it sure is promising to see.
Hoping and praying we don't have anymore snow here in central WI. I was out on the golf course yesterday and don't want it to close again until October.
This one is definitely my favorite and oh so true......
And our parents told us to stay outside and play... all day long. Oh,
no, no electronics to soothe and comfort. And if you came back
inside... you were doing chores!
It truly is hard to believe that people can do this. They should cover them in honey and tie them to a tree. I hope they never see the light of day again as free people.
