  2. Re: 20 - Andrea\'s Boys Hang in there Bushman, patience usually pays off. If not, at least you know those big boys are there for next year. Good luck to you!
  3. Re: How good are you? I can hold my own in the woods.
  4. Re: How far will you shoot at a deer? I practice on a regular basis at 40 to 50 yards, so my shorter shots are easy. So, if all the moons and planets line up, I'll take a 45 to 50 yards shot. More than likely this will be a field shot when I'm on the edge of a field, hunting it. If I'm in the woods, it'll usually be under a 20 yard shot. My furthest kill has been 40 yards, no trees, no saplings, no tall grass or anything in the way.
  5. For any of you that use these, the Sportsman's Guide has got them in stock and on sale for $49.99. Limited supplies, better act fast, i've got a set on the way!
  6. Re: Pant or Bibs... Bibs all the way around, I like the amount of cargo pockets on them and they are the same price as pants. I have insulated Bibs for cold weather also, cover-alls are just t restrictive when you are sitting. You can also dress in layers much better with bibs and coat, you can't take half of your cover-alls off. JMO
  7. Re: HE\'S BAAAAACK! Very nice buck and the mount is great too! That is a short time to get one back. I had to wait almost a year for my last one.
  8. Re: Doe with my bow this year!!!!!!!! That is great! Congratulations to you and Lil' Bro!
  9. Re: Best Mechanical Broadhead I'm not a big mechanical fan, but if I did shoot them on a hunt this year. I'd have to go with a head that the blades deployed by sliding back, instead of rolling back. This rolling back action takes alot of energy away from the arrow and reducing the penetration. I took my first deer with a mechanical this year which was a Montec Tekan II. It did it's job but I wasn't impressed enough to ever switch from my Muzzy's. In short, I'd recommend any of these heads- Tekan II, Rocky Mountain XP3, Satelite Deadringers especially if your shooting low draw weight on your bow. JMO

  12. Re: What should i use Real men hunt with a bow during gun season! LOL
  13. Re: Team 20 Keep the deer and points coming folks! Congrats Washi!
  14. Re: How many deer have we taken this year? I've taken 8 with my bow-8 point, 3 point, 4 Does, and 2 buttonheads so that makes 70 so far for us.
  15. Re: Team 20 Congrats again Ed and PDR-that's alot more points for us! I can't wait to see the new totals and were we stand in this contest. You folks keep on hunt'n and kill'n for me, I'm done for the year. Hunt safe and Hunt hard! Good luck to you all!
  16. Re: Muzzys mx-4 scores Atta bot boomer! Congrats on the Doe kill. I do how ever have to dispute the 75's blood trail, seeing how I am using them. LOL J/K I do use the 75's but in defense of any broadhead, if you hit them right, you'll see them fall most of the time and the blood trail will be excessive. Congrats again on the Doe!
  17. Re: My season is over. Thanks guys, it sounds like I'm not the only one falling apart. LOL I'm hoping for a fast and full recovery. Tominator I feel your pain, not being able to hunt in Ohio, it stinks to miss any hunting at all. I had to miss 8 weeks last years due to back surgery. Thanks again everyone, take care and be safe out there.
  18. Re: Team 20 Very nice buck Ed! I went to picture post and saw him!
  19. Re: My sons First Buck Congrats on the buck with your son!
  20. Re: Holy roadkill photos!! (warning, VERY graphic) That is totlaly insane with the blood! I'm glad everyone was okay.
  21. I can't complain about it, having taken 8 deer with my bow, but it's over until next year. I struggled to make it through this one and finally had MRI's done on my left shoulder. I've got two tares in my rotator cuff, burcitis, and tendonitis. I'll be having surgery on December 1st and out of bow shooting commition for about 4 to 6 months. That'll be plenty of time I hope to get back in shape for hunting season in 07. Good luck to all of you and be safe out there. I'll have plenty of time to get on here after Friday and do some chicken pecking on the keyboard with one hand! LOL
  22. Re: One more for the freezer Congrats Gary!
  23. Re: Team 20 Congrats Ed! I can't wait to see some pictures. We are doing pretty good on our totals for points. It'll be a while before they get totalled, though.
  24. Re: My \'06 P&Y buck Awesome buck, Gooder! Welcome to the forums as well, we look forward to hearing and seeing some great hunting from Canada!
  25. Re: Team 20 Sounds like it's just a matter of time Bushman. Good luck to you and bust a biggun!
