  1. My bow isn't even a year old and i'm already tweaking it. Is this normal? So I went to a new bow shop yesterday, they were very helpful and nice and said just bring my bow in and they'd help get it set-up again since the cams need to be timed, I want to put a string loop on, and i'm going to order new strings and cables. I'm getting the strings/cables from bucknasty on AT. Heard alot of good stuff about them and I can afford them I'm thinking of going with black and blue colors Sticking with a peep with tubing though since I just ordered some silicone tubing from cabelas and i like the reliability of the tubing. Will post a photo on here when it is call set up. Oh yeah and i'm switching to 100 grain tips so I pretty much have to totally resight everything, minus the arrow rest hopefully.

    Bread Machines

Re: Bread Machines We are spoiled because mom makes bread from scratch, no bread machine. Personally it's alot better than from a bread machine. She makes Cheese bread today which everyone loves:-)

  5. Re: New form photo...let me know what you think It could have been....I might have had it tightended a little too much. I've tried 2 eyes but not comfortable with it - doesn't work too well for me,lol
  6. I stretched my left arm a little bit more, I think I was a little too bent in the first photo, and that put the string more towards the tip of my nose. Shoulder still a little high I guess.
  7. Re: Please give my your opinions on my form Yeah, I was being careful, but others said put an arrow in so I will next time.
  8. Re: Please give my your opinions on my form Well I posted this on AT and they said my Cam are way out of time, draw length a little time. Dang it! Theguy at the shop I got my bow from didn't do squat! I'm going to go to a different shop and hopefully get it fixed.
  9. Here's a photo I took this morning: Let me know what you think is good/bad/ or otherwise. I thought except for a very slight leaning back and my string to the side of my nose a little, it wasn't too bad. I've always shot with the string slightly off the tip of my nose. Everyone seems to shoot with it right at their tip/in front of their nose but I've been comfortable this way. Thanks for any comments!

    Yippeee!!

Re: Yippeee!! Well it didn't come today! This is what it said on UPS: "THE PACKAGE IS DELAYED DUE TO EMERGENCY CONDITIONS BEYOND UPS' CONTROL." Obviously the bad weather conditions today. Guess I'll have to wait until Monday. I ordered some fly tying stuff like a kit and materials, floatant for dry flys, a broadhead sharpener, 100 grain field points, a bow string seperator, silicone peep sight tubing.

Re: Jury Duty Scam Sent an email to my mom about it, though she doesn't checl her email much. I'll tell her when I get home. Was home at lunch and she had some weird phone call from some guy in California wanting her to get ahold of the neighbor, whom we have no contact or anything to do with, and mom is like NO! It was weird...

[/ QUOTE ] Wow HuntnMa, that sounds like an awesome job! I think I'd love something like that. What did you have to study to get a job like that. My outdoor ed. major had classes like Nat. Resource Management and I took Conservation Bio...probably have to get some wildlife biology degree huh? Pretty cool job I'd say you have
  20. Re: Wish me luck tonight! [ QUOTE ] Questions from a confused old man.... I thought you already graduated. I thought that intramural sports were for the students. Are you taking classes again? Do alumni play in your sports programs? Anyway, good luck in your game. ....popgun [/ QUOTE ] Yes, I already graduated They let students/faculty/Staff/Alumni/and Community members with a recreation pass play intramurals. I'm an Alumni and working part time for custodial/facilities. The team I'm on actually has a lady who played varsity here, she's pretty good. Has kids of her own now. By the way everyone, WE WON! It was grueling but the final score was 25-17 and we held the lead the entire time. Oh and I made one basket - a big 3 I didn't get injured and I so stuffed this big heavy set girl. We were playing man-on-man and this girl, heavy set, a little short, but decent, I see out of the corner of my eye going right to the basket, she got by the defense, so I run over and as she goes up, BOOM I lay the smackdown, I raised my arms and my hands so stuffed her shot - they called a foul but it was so worth it!

    Yippeee!!

So I was checking the tracking on my Cabela's order. They said scheduled arrival of next Monday but I just looked and it says 7:36am - out for delivery! so it should be coming today, hopefully! All my orders from Cabela's usually come earlier then expected....what I love about them, lol I have to run home at lunch break so mom can go to the bank so maybe there will be a package waiting for me
  22. Got an intramural basketball game at 10pm tonight..going to be a long work day tomorrow, lol. We are playing a team that is usually close in score and beats us because they play somewhat unfairly and the one girl just bully's around (yes, girls can be mean, lol). But we have a 6' ex-varsity college player on our team! My first game back since scratching my eye. I think we are 2-2 right now. I'll let you all know how it went tomorrow! (I can hear Tominator telling me to be careful aready, lol )
  23. Re: Tattoo after second session, check it out Whoa, that's a big tattoo! Congrats on it! I'm not much for tattos though, lol.
  24. Re: New Turkey Gun I shoot a Mossberg 500 20 ga. and I like it, has taken plenty of turkeys, deer, and small game with it. I think you'll like yours!
  25. What do you all do for a living? When you aren't on RT or hunting that is Me...well I'm head of custodial in a girls dorm on campus while the regular head is recoverying from surgery. I basically supervise around 50 student workers, maintain the building (cleaning, minor repairs like lights). I've been doing this off and on as they just email me when they need me to come in. And I'm working on finding a summer job or some type of employment more outdoor rec. related.. How about you?
