Ok ladies, what do you like to collect or have a collection of? Besides shed antlers, I have a Breyer model horse collection, a small Ertl tractor collection (lol, weird I know, I love farm stuff - I'm a country girl!), I have a few various turkey related things, and a small rock/arrowhead, and stamp collection. What about you all?

Re: What did you want to be? I wanted to be a vet, then before college wanted to ba an Athletic Trainer - still do. They took the major though out of the college curriculum so I became an Outdoor Ed. major. Still would like to be an Athletic Trainer or have some type of medica training, but I wouldn't mind working in a state park or better yet working as a fishing/hunting guide or something along those lines.

Re: Who Is Thinkng About Turkey Yet??? I'm kinda thinking about it. With no turkey for 3 years, i'm not in the mood to make it 4 years. Plan to get out and scout more I hope and find a flock. It'll be hard though since I'll likely end up hunting state land which means hunting with other hunters around. but I always give it a go

Just wondering when you all start scouting turkeys? I think I might be traveling to state land this year but i'm not sure when I should start scouting? I'll probably try to get andy to go with me to some state land about a half hour from here since he's been there and said there was alot of sign. the few turkeys that are on the land near my house that I hunt, I haven't seen them at all. so if I even get a jake to come in on state land, that would be a prize in itself! Thanks for any input!

Anyone seen any bucks without antlers or half racked bucks, or even find sheds yet? Was wondering if there were any deer shedding yet or if this snow and cold we have might make them drop if they haven't already....I can't wait to start looking

Re: why is it? Umm so we don't have to touch it. And it's just proper manner and etiquette. We have to sit, you guys don't,lol. And it's just an inconvenience to have to put a lid down after a guy used a toilet. I guess that's my thoughts on the matter,lol! Interesting question......lmbo

Re: Been kinda miserbale.... Thanks everyone! took a nap a little bit ago, woke up and it is better - less scratchy and dry then this morning. Still blurry but I hope it is less by tomorrow so I can see at work,lol. I can see but reading anything is impossible just sbout.

Pardon my bad spelling, I can't see too well. I posted about scratching my eye Sunday. Well it was killing me, went to the eye Dr. yesterday morning, got a nice tear drop scratch on my cornea. He gave me some antibiotic drops. Had a rough last 2 days, a little better today but my eye is still sore, red, and a little blurry which explains why I can't see too well. I'mhoping I'll be alot better tomorrow so I can go back to work/ Anyone else scratch their eye and how long did it take until you could see and were back to normal again? Ok, well just so you all know I'm around, ..

Re: Ouch! Stupid branch.... I think it was dead, I'm not sure, all I know is a branch is a branch. It's not too bad minus stinging when my eye tears, feeling like something is in there (not too bad though) and lights have a glare/blur to them. Hopefully it'll be better in the morning. The branch did more of a swipe then a poke which I think is good.

I just got in from my squirrel hunt...no luck except for finding someone else's stand inbetween my stand and one of our other stands I'm crossing a hedge row on the way home, between two field, and a branch swipes me in the eye. It isn't too bad but feels like something is in there a little, and a little blurry - obviously I scratched the cornea. Mom had some stuff to put in it so I'm trying to keep my eye closed. Hopefully it'll be better tomorrow. Luckily it isn't in them iddle of my eye, more down low by the bottom of my eyelid...still annoying anyway!
