Ok, it was more of a small hike through the farm land I hunt with my backpack, camera, and the .22. I was on the lookout for chicken stealing foxes and woodchucks and a good photo possibility. Well I saw 4 woodchucks but no shots. I also about 10 deer in one alfalfa field where we have a few stands. One had antlers in velvet that came up to the top of his ears; looks like he may be decent. The others were too far away to tell (I was looking through the scope of the .22). All in all it was a good evening until a wild rose bush snagged me on the back of the calf (aka gastrocnemius muscle). That kind of hurts and stings right,lol.
