My insulated Realtree camo overalls are really really worn out and I'm looking for a pair of insulated or uninsulated bibs, preferably cheap because I'm a college student. The uninsulated bibs I have are a men's size 36 and they are a little baggy (lol) so I need something a little smaller. My overalls I think are a men's medium or small, just so you guys get an idea. Anyway in case anyone has some bibs to get rid of or know of a website/store that has a decent price on camo, please let me know. Thanks friends

Re: New New York State Law Just another way for animal rights activists to get hunting outlawed.......or for the governor of NY to go out with a bang.... (no pun intended)

Re: Almost walked into this..... Kind of a testament to God's amazing creation but also one scary spider! I'd be screaming and running the other way,lol

Re: One year to go Thanks everyone. Part of me is excited and part of me will probably miss certain aspects of this college when it is over. I'm glad I have late class times as that means I hunt in the morning, lol! AKcowboy: I'm taking this semester Environmental Earth Science, Biblical Interpretation, Local Flora & Vegetation, Program Planning, and Methods & Materials of Camps/Outdoor Ed. Grunter and huntn4bucks - it is great to hear from you two!!

Re: Woolrich clothing problem No, the snap did not rust. I've barely worn the jacket. When looking at it again, the part of the snap still attached to the jacket is starting to come off also. This jacket is still like new so something was wrong with the snap.

Well I got this Woolrich Realtree Hardwoods Green jacket for my birthday in February and I've barely worn it; it is still new basically. I just found today when attaching the hood on that one of the snaps on the jacket for the hood was broken off and stuck in the hood button! This really makes my angry and disappointed as I enjoy their clothing because of quality and comfort but this is shocking. I'm sending them an email right now. Has anyone had any problems with their clothing at all?

Re: yet to shoot a brid That is why it is called hunting. I was successful turkey hunting for a few years and now I am in a 2 year slump; haven't gotten a fall or spring turkey for 2 years. I'm not giving up thought and will have just as much determination this fall. Keep your head up, do a little scouting, have patience, and your hard work will pay off!

It's amazing people but here I am, with 3 weeks until my senior year at college starts. Where has the time gone? I am going to have alot of decisions to make like "Do I got to college some where to get a degree in Athletic Training?" "Where do I do my internship next summer?" "What does God want me to do?" Ill be working custodial right up to before college starts which is August 29. I got paid yesterday which means I can send my check in to pay for this semester but I have to wait until my next check in 2 weeks to order my textbooks and buy my hunting license which usually goes on sale mid-August. The good news is the earliest class time I have 5 days a week during the semester is 10:00am! And I am already excited and looking forward to squirrel season September 1. I am also thinking about starting to save a little money to get a new bow one of these days.(probably not anytime soon) My bow right now works good but compare it to one of today's bows and you'll see the difference, lol! Ok, so this post has alot of "me" in it but I thought you'd all like to know I'm not like lying around with a sprain or something, unable to come to Realtree, lol! I see that everyone appears to be fairly well on here and I'm sure some of you are getting ready for if not already hunting! God bless people!

Re: Witness to a fatal accident tonight....... Wow, that is extremely sad. Alot of you have beared witness to some tragic accidents. This is why we should treat each day is if it is our last (this doesn't mean staying at home in bed all day, lol). The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away....God has planned our lives from day one. In chapel one time they told us how some of these accidents and what not happen and we don't see the reason for them. Well God has a reason and sometimes He just lets things happen because it is part of His plan. May the Lord be not only with the lady's family but with each and everyone of you on this board. During my time at college, one of my professors died from a heart attack, 2 students were killed in car accidents, another student who graduated died of cancer, and a student I know, her father died in a car accident. Life sure can be tough sometimes.

Re: Still Camera Entries Duckies, duckies everywhere! The one duckling in the bottom left corner just hatched out as they all begin their life out of the shell Took this photo in June. In case this photo becomes blurry, it was perfectly clear when I downloaded/posted it. I have noticed other entrants' photos turning kind of blurry also.

Re: Blood donation complications (long....) Wow, I am glad to hear you are ok! Talk about scary. I would suggest eating fruit as that is healthy and high in sugar. I have never given blood. They have blood drives at college each semester and my mom says I should give blood as I have one of the more uncommon blood types. I'm just kind of hesitant though, the thought of lying there with a needle stuck in your arm and blood draining out, ugh. Glad you are feeling better!

Re: AAAAAAAAAAAAA, WHAT THE HECK....... That is really depressing; all that hard hunting and fishing down the drain.... Good luck in cleaning up the mess. I can sympathize in that some of the garbage bags I've been taking out working custodial at college....they really really STUNK! There was one today that stunk so bad, it was unreal!

Re: NY and rifles allowed I have heard this from actual news sources that have reported from what Pataki has said. I'm tired of hearing either there is too many deer or too few deer. Nothing makes sense. Even if rifle does happen, I can't afford a rifle anyway. Having a rifle season will mean, to the DEC, bringing in more hunters which equals more $money$ and alot of NY state hunters may sells their shotguns and buy a rifle. I personally think it would be better to just have like a week of rifle season or something. I dunno but some good thoughts are here.

Photo Contest Discussion and Questions.
Turkeygirl replied to billkay's topic in Photography & Video
Re: Photo Camera Discussion and Questions. Wow, the more photos I see, the more discouraged I get; there are some great photos there. I just don't know what to enter because none seem to be as great as all the other entrants. Hmmmm..........
