Thanks Bug. I did have some reservations about not staying to fight the fight. But there are way too many low information voters and people in these parts that make policy and elect idiots. I don't think I will ever get to win that one. So one at a time, NYS is chasing wage earners and good honest law abiding people away. So when they chase every hard working good person away...Who will foot the bill for the 178 that collect Gov't assistance for every 100 that are working contributing members of society? I won't be one of them.( Middle finger up at Prince Cuomo). My son is quite excited and so looking forward to the move. He took his handgun safety course last thursday here at the sherrif's dept. Texas has reciprocity with NYS handgun licenses, so his permit will be recognized when transferred. Unfortunately...NYS doesnt recognize anyones permit. I still have some time to work on the Mrs. I hope the whole family comes. But if they don't...I know I have taught them the dangers of staying here in this oppressive state.

I would rather make love not war. But I will be prepared for both. Now more than ever are our rights being infringed. Scary times ahead gents. -
Wow...Facts straight forward in a manner most should be able to comprehend. The media plays a huge part in misrepresentation of the facts. Glad some of the folks in Washington have gotten it right. Sen Cruz is right on.

This guy sounds like the real deal. We need more like him.

Thanks guys. It is a ballsy move. But I know it will pay off. Scary to pick up and go...No doubt. But I am not looking to leave my family or isolate them. They are all welcome. Like I have been telling my wife. Just come up with a alternative plan and we both will explore it. At worst even if I don't move there. I know my son would have much better quality of life in Texas than NY. He can buy the land from me if I dont retire there. I keep telling my wife...Do you know anyone who retires and wants to stay in a over taxed, over governed, incredibly crowded and crazy expensive state? No answer from her. I have 8-10 years before I go. A lot can happen between now and then.

It seems I have found a cure for NY's gun woes. I won't have to get rid of a thing! Sending them all down south. I bought property in the Texas Hill Country. My escrow acct is open and the contract signed with a 21 day look see period. 6.5acres with a 3 bedroom mobilehome on it in Harper Texas. 20 minutes outside of Kerrville, one hour from San Antone and right across the road from a good friends ranch where he raises whitetail and exotics for auction. I have been visiting this area for the last 6 years and fell in love with the area and the large amount of game that roams free in that area. The present mobile home will not be the permanant house there. But it will stay for now or until I move there permanately. I at 48, still have a ways to go before retirement(8-10 yrs). But my oldest son Joe(21) is ready to make the jump and become a Lone Star resident. He will be going ahead of me in a few months to live there. In 10 years, my youngest son will be 26 and my middle son will be 28 and those boys better know what they are doing by then with their life. They can move on down if they want. My wife as of now... wants no part of it. She was born and raised in Manhattan NYC. She would rather concrete under her feet than dirt or coliche. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it with her. By then who knows where she will stand. But...either way I am gonna close on the property while I am down there 9 days from now. The taxes are $423/year for 6.5 acres! I pay just about 10 grand a year here in Rockland county for a 1300sqft ranch home on 1/3 of an acre! No state income tax, no pension tax and low low real estate tax. So doing simple math...It makes economic sense to get the heck out of NYS. Forget about King Cuomo and the fact that 178 folks for every 100 working here are on Gov't assistance. I am gonna miss my son Joe. But I must remember...this is not about me for now. It is about him still being able to live in a state that appreciates its residents and enjoys freedom. Can't say that about NYS. Does anyone know anybody who has said " I want to move to NY?" Texas is a growing state with a booming economy that keeps on growing. So I have been whistling while I have been working and have had a smile on my face since this property buying process has began. Land will only go up, and I am glad I am getting on board now in a solid secure free state. So if anyone wants to have lunch while I'm in Kerrville Feb 6th-12. PM me and I'll send ya my cell #. I am quite excited.

The Clintons were the pre poison that America was fed. There was another too. The Commerce Secretary that went down on a plane...Can't remeber his name. Funny how the press doesn't mention Whitewater anymore huh? Wasn't Bill Clinton the nations first Black president?

Here is some food for thought. I know this is you tube...BUT...too many people feeling the same thing. If you think they are only after evil black rifles...I have a bridge to sell ya. Google Oath keepers

I heard that anything with a scope is considered a "sniper weapon" and is eventually gonna find the way of the mag fed semi auto in NYS...Banned. Open sights is all that will be allowed. I have not seen that yet, but there is all types of chatter regarding what is legal and what is not. This bill was pushed thru so fast that even the democraps that voted for it don't what it contained. The Rep in my area(Carlucci) who voted for NY Safe act was rewarded with Chairman of the State Mental Health Committee. Things that make you go Hmmmm.

I sit corrected. Yes, it was ALL sportsmen.

Anything out of Jay Carneys mouth is a Lie. How does he look in the mirror? It doesnt surprise me at all the King Obama is ruling with a iron hand and trying to make America into his own fifedom. It is only a matter of time before he gets to replace 2 more Supreme court justices and mold decisions his way for a LOOOOONG time. Scary...very scary.

I believe they are company based in the UK. Even all the more reason to beat them down. Contact Us - Reed Exhibitions It would really be something if the Brits were sucessful in shutting down our gun rights. Right on Letemgrow!
-
Sorry Too...We are not fighting against each other...Gun owners stuck together and we won. Reed expo was a anti and they were defeated. So we did fight...But against someone who was against law abiding gun owners.
-
Yes, it is sad that folks will lose money of the politics played out by Reed expos. That does bite. But if the show was cancelled by the people who run it...should'nt your father in law get his $ back? Keep this in mind...It was Reed that cast the first stone. Gun owners/ hunters/celebs everywhere repsonded to that first stone. Reed made their bed...now they can lie in it. BTW...The NSSF has had Reed Expos run the Shot Show for a number of years. If you read their latest statement...They are considering dropping Reed as their promoter for the shot show because of the current situation.

The Battle of Athens. This is a re enactment and in NO way am I suggesting anything at all. Except history teaches us well. Nuff said.

"The Constitution shall never be construedto prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens fromkeeping their own arms." - Samuel Adams I guess our representitives didnt pay attention to this one huh? A free man shall never be debarred the use of arms -Patrick Henry My Gov't should not ever worry about me. I need to worry about my Gov't and where they are going with our country. The 2nd amendmant makes me feel more free than any of the others. It has nothing to do with hunting and is all about keeping a Gov't honest.
-
NY legislators have really raised the stupidity bar here...I am speechless and not surprised assinine proposals like this are being made. I have made alternative living plans for the near future. There is still hope for my children.
-
Ya know what I do not understand...? How the NSSF got behind Reed Expo and told us to go to the show. I understand the need to be unified. But these folks have gone off the reservation. Need to be taught a lesson in how folks really stick together. I am spreading this around everywhere.
-
That is good news. But for how long? Until some bleeding heart is promised the world by Mike Bloomberg and is backed by Bloombergs $$$ to push that agenda. I hope it never comes to that.
-
Hit them in the pocket...where it hurts the most. I have sent my letter and it would do a world of good by letting the companies know who are boycotting the event. To know that you support them!

If pro 2nd Amendment means pro gun...Then pro abortion means pro death.
