Cabelas happens to be one of the major outdoor gear sellers that have not gouged in the recent demand created by the current administration here and in DC. I am glad they are getting the opportunity to expand.
I still enjoy coming here and talking with old friends. I have met a few here face to face and my life is better for it. Folks I would have never have known if it NOT for Realtree forums.
We are all like family here. Just think...How many names we all know of each other kids and wives and we live what....? How far from each other? See what I mean. I ain't going anywhere.
Funny how kids and youth take to the electronics like second nature. They grew up on it as it was being developed. Wanna have some fun with the techies....? Hide the remote to the TV...see if they can find the manual power button!
Oh yeah...They are doing quite well. I follow their stock on my brokerage watch list so I can kick myself for not buying it. They were a recommended buy when the IPO hit. It started at something like $16 a share. Its in the 60's now.
I had lots of toy guns as a kid. I even brought them to school! As did lots of other kids to play with at recess.
Boy... society has slid in such a bad way.
Ticks don't seem to like me...Good!
They love my son Joe though. Just about everytime he goes in the woods. He comes back with one attached or about to attach.
Naaa...They wouldn't be half as funny if they didnt speak that way. I guess they are real cajuns.
Love the show. Seem like Very down to earth folks.
Come on... he put the face to the phrase...CHOOT'EM!:clown:
Oh yeah. I think my first car was a 69 or 70 Ford Econoline van. It had 3 on the tree. Cab forward design also. You sat over the front wheels. Got a lot out of 1st gear too if I remember correctly before shifting. The clutch pedal came out of the floor. Not the firewall like today.
Wow...You took me back a bit.
Congrats to you and your daughter William. I am watching this thread closely as for my youngest, Michael; will be graduating next year. We have been visiting colleges the last few weeks. His grades in the mid 90's and we are in the same boat.
