  1. For sale is a like new Jonathan Arthur Ciener 1911 Commander/Officers model 22 conversion kit. Used so little that there are even no brass marks on magazine follower. No scratches except one spot on magazine when it was inserted into a Kimber Compact to see if it fit. It didn't fit the Kimber Compact. I am thinking only a Colt? It was bought for a Colt. $225 plus $8 to ship. No longer have a need for this item and moving it along at what I think is a bargain price. If you know of "Ciener". You will know that this is a top of the line conversion kit. Comes with case instructions and one magazine. I will accept a check or money order. Will hold personal check until it clears. Buy with confidence.
  2. Hope this birthday was the BEST one ever Steve.
  3. Wow...what a way to go. Prayers on the way.
  4. A fat old lead doe. 20 yards, in a Summit climber. My bow had too long of a draw for me. Bought from a guy at work for $100. Practiced for 2 months in my yard with a pendulum site. Watched her go down within 20 yards. That was the moment in time when I became hooked on bowhunting! Here in suburban NY. 40 miles from NYC.
  5. I demand Gold, blood or ammo Dan . Personal check has worked for me here in the past. If you opened a pay pal acct it would be real easy to pay you , but they would get a 3% cut for the transaction. Check seems to be the most fool proof method. Hold it until it clears, then ship.
  6. Is it possible to take a bad photo in Alaska? Thanks for sharing Leo.

That is great news Corey! Congrats to you and the Mrs!
  9. Happy Birthday Tim! Hope it was a great one.
  10. There is NO way for them to prove who was driving the vehicle. So they CANNOT assess points to a license. That is why it is all about revenue generation. Not safety. Points will make folks stop at lights and slow down. Not Cameras. Those are just for making money. Due process is not given on a red light cam ticket. It is telling you that you are guilty and have to pay. That is NOT how our justice system works. I know driving is a privilege, not a right. BUT...Laws and convictions still work the same way with traffic court. DUE PROCESS. If you show up to fight one, chances are they will throw it out/reduce it rather than waste the courts time if you dig in for the long haul and fight. BTW...if anyone has EZ-Pass or some sort of electronic toll collection. Sensors were installed along EVERY highway, roadway , bridge or tunnel for data collection of traffic. These same sensors can use the EZpass transponder to issue speeding tickets( EZ Pass' are addressable). Keep the EZ Pass or EZ Tag in the protective bag until you use it. It blocks the transponder from giving off a signal.

Haven't sent my well wishes in quite some time Chris. Glad to hear you are clean and good to go. Great news about your sons also. Prayer still headed your way.

  13. Glad he is doing well. Great to hear! He is still gonna have a few more prayers sent up for him. Keep swinging Steve!
  14. Yup...that was a good day! Happy Birthday pal.
  15. You deserve it Bug, you have worked hard and put your heart into it all. Congrats! Every hospital should have people in it that care as much as you do.
  16. Sorry for your loss. Moms are so very special.
  17. Bottom line here. In America. You are NOT guilty until proven. You have the right to face your accuser. By issuing a red light camera ticket and demanding a fine. You are NOT afforded DUE PROCESS. Most folks don't have the time to go fight a $65 ticket and will just pay it. That is how it is here in NYC. It is all about revenue generation. Fines people can pay. It is the points that folks don't want that will increase their insurance. So if safety is their goal...the driver needs to be ticketed...Not the registrant. Its total bull. I drive to work daily to Ground Zero from Rockland everyday. I pass 5 red light cams every morning and 7 on the way home exiting Manhattan. They have one right before you get on the Westside Hwy. Very sneaky location and a big money maker for NYC. Having worked for Traffic and street light contractors in NYC...I know how the lights cycle and know when its going to change by the pedestrian signals in the crosswalk. I drive accordingly. I have almost been rear ended 2x by drivers who were gonna blow the light, but I stopped because of the camera that I knew was there. In the 3 years I have been working on the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. I have never gotten a red light cam ticket. But then again...You gonna hate this Bug...I worked for the contractor(05-08) that installed about 60% of the red light cams in NYC. So I know where they are. Due Process is not given with red light camera tickets.

    Really??

Doesn't surprise me with the current political climate. I am just glad it wasn't one of my sons that wore that shirt to school. Lord knows the can of worms that would have been opened up here. A kid not too long ago was suspended for eating a chicken finger into the shape of a gun. What are these schools coming to?
  23. Well...at least I am not as late with this wish as I was with the others...Happy Birthday.
  24. Happy belated birthday Al. Wishing you all the best.
