  1. I don't use a quiver on the side of my bow just for that reason but I would recommend doing some internet surfing on the weights of the new quivers and to see how universal they are as well ass the weight of them. Personally, I use a hip quiver and it works great.
  2. Kyle is right, it is very unusal for the arrow to be longer or as long as your draw length unless you have a flipper style rest mountedin the burger hole on your riser. My draw length is 30" and my arrows are 28 1/4" long. Your arrow rest is mounted to the burger hole which is the center of your riser but the rest is on the shooters side of the riser making it shorter than your draw length.
  3. It's not uncommon for fixed blade broadheads and field tips not to hit the same place, but some bow will drive tacks with both of them. I've shot Muzzy's for 16 years now and most of those years were with the 100 grain 3-blade and had the same problem you are having. I just set my hunting bows up with broadheads and left it at that. I switched to the 5 grain heads 4 years ago and man do those things shoots circle around the 100's. I can hit the same spot with the broadhead and field tip out to 50 yards.
  4. Beautiful deer and mount! Congratulations!
  5. I guess I'm partial to the blazer vanes because I use them, but the fob's require a drop away. If your going with that then it's up to you on whether you want the fob's or not. Personally I will stick with the Blazers and my WB.
  6. I've hunted with Muzzy for coming up on 17 years and never had them let me down. The only time they have is when I didn't hit the animal right, pass through's have been great with awesome blood trails. It really doesn't matter what broadhead you use, if you don't hit the animal right none of them will perform they way they are meant too. I've used the Muzzy 75 for the last 5 years with great success as well. Nothing else will be in my quiver.
  7. Let him walk, if he doesn't meet my standards which he doesn't then he is on his merry way. Always a bigger one out there and he could be just behind this one.
  8. :crutch: 2nd fastest here.
  9. I've had one for several years now and love it. Fantastic hand gun and rugged as well as accurate.
  10. Seems like me and hangunnr had the same idea of getting this jerk out of here. LOL
  11. That is awesome Kyle and congratulations, sorry I missed it two weeks ago. I've had two classes going on and went on vacation. Your sure are a proud a daddy, it only gets better!
  12. Yep, I see it too and I believe it doing some dropping's too!:clown: Seriously it is to the right walking under those diangle tree line in front of the rock outcrop.
  13. I agree with you but that will not help what I have in my draws. I don't think its a stat though to give anyone a semse of relief from being snake bit.
  14. 10" 44Mag. SS Contender Barrel with sights and forearm grip. 175.00 TYD in lower 48
  15. I'd let it walk, I don't hunt Mule deer. Ha Ha Well, if I did hunt them it would have to be an arrow through the 2nd green from the top.
  16. 2nd red from the right and that Doe is laying on the ground. Killed 5 deer with this shot.
  17. Middle yellow and watching him do the face slide before he gets out of the field.
  18. Shoot him walking in the 3rd green dot. I did this last year in Ohio on my 10 point, he was just walking the other direction. lol
  19. Simply Awesome! Congratulations!
  20. I bowhunted by myself for years and hated every minute of it for the shear fact of no one to share my day and adventures with. I've hunted the last 8 years with buddies and my brother, it's so fun to get back to camp and hear all the tales from the day or see kills.
  21. Depending on the area and hunting pressure will determine if you get to even draw before he bolts. Around here in NC, it's a memory not a shot.
