Until the start of squirrel season in NY state, woohoo! I can't wait until tomorrow afternoon, it'll be the first fun thing I've done in 12 days straight of custodial work I'm even going to work at 6am instead of 7am to get out of work an hour earlier so I can be in the woods. Hoping to bring back some contest entries

So I've been working for custodial at college this past week, and I have been feeling really burned out but have been keeping at it because it is a pay check after all. Working 7am-3:30pm leaves me exhausted when I get home and no energy to sit down and send out resumes. Well my supervisor this week told me they will need me next week - full day Monday then I'm just going to try to work 7am-noon the rest of the week because I need a life Then she said that I could work weekend mornings in the campus center because they have students in and they need someone to "guide them", so I said I could do at least Saturdays. I would like to have Sunday's off because it is the Lord's Day. So after this coming week, hopefully I'll be done working full time during the week and just doing Saturday mornings which will be a couple hours, so I'd work like 1 day out of the week which isn't much but it's something and it will give me time to do work at home for my mom - garden and house stuff. I could work both days on the weekend and still have the week off, but I kind of think I truly need a day of rest even if I'm at home 6 days of the week doing work around the house, I'd at least have some time to look for a job. Think I'm making a good choice?

Re: Bad car accident Wow, I'm surprised no one was killed! God much have been watching for sure! The oak tree looks like that would have hurt to hit.

Re: Last day of summer break Hmmm what should you do? well if it was hunting season...no question about it. I'd say go buy some good junk food, pull out some hunting movies, and watch them all day,lol! Or go out to the deer woods and do a little scouting, have al ittle picnic out there....

Re: Squirrel Contest Question Thread Well not counting today, only 1.5 days left since my squirrel season starts Friday afternoon after work. I can't wait! And considering that hurricane ernesto is going to make it rain all weekend, that should have those squirrels busy Friday evening! I hope....

Re: Got a New Hoyt!!! Congrats !!! On Saturday I stopped at the local bow shop and had the guy order me my new bow - a Hoyt Rintec XL! It's nice to know another Rintec person on here. Mine will be around $350.

Ok, I typically don't spend Sundays working, it is the Lord's Day, but oh man, I just got home from working from 6:30am-8am doing custodial at the college. Students have been arriving back this weekend so we had to do general cleaning stuff in the campus center since they don't have students hired yet. I only did it for the money since next week is my last week then I'll be jobless, but now I am tired. It's also raining out and Andy is watching some dumb movi when I could be watching the Realtree hunting hour in ESPN

Re: Release question Yeah, I checked Walmart last night. They had like 2 TruFire releases, not the one I wanted, but I tried on an x-caliper pro which felt nice so I think the hurricane will be good:)

Guess what came in the mail for me today? My DIPLOMA! I can now officially say I have a Bachelor of Science degree...in Outdoor Education! What a nice piece of mail to come. Now I get to find a nice frame for it Oh, I'll take a photo of it to post here to,lol

Stopped at the bow shop just down the road from us and told the owner to order me a Hoyt Rintec XL! Could take anywhere from 1 week to a couple weeks to come, but hopefully should give me time to order my new release and Truglo sight. Pictures will follow when I have my "baby" in possession,lol!
