Re: The Night before Opening Day? I usually get my small backpack packed with what I need and put it out n the kitchen table with whatever I'm hunting with (shotgun or bow). I'll also put my clothes out that I'm going to wear and my camo. I try to go to bed early but that doesn't always work. Last year I didn't go out opening morning because I had classes!

Was out shopping with my mom tonight at Walmart and got my 2005/2006 license. Payed $68 for the Super-Sportsman which includes the fishing license, big game/small game license, muzzeloading license/deer tag (can use for archery), archery license and tag, Regular antlered deer tag (shotgun season), a DMP, and 4 turkey tags (2 for fall and 2 for spring). Has anyone else bought their licenses for the new season?

I miss that girl! Has anyone heard from her/know what she is doing? I hope she is ok and doing well whatever she is doing. There are alot of people I don't see lately like wyohunter, sureshot, and some others I can't think of....

Re: A different twist on Gas Prices.... I basically walk to my hunting spots as I hunt on farmland. All I have to do is walk about 10-20 minutes to get to where I want to go. Sometimes I will drive the car down the road and up a tractor path but gas won't affect my hunting!

Re: OUCH Wow, so that is what electricity can do to you,lol! I hope you are feeling better soon. I had a small knot in the muscle in my lower back like 2 years ago. Let me tell you, it hurt and I was hhaving these back spasms, ugh. Get better buddy!

Re: You know when your a Deer Hunter when......... ...when you can't sleep the night before the opener and/or you have dreams about that nice buck coming to your stand and you either can't draw your bow or squeeze the trigger, or you move in slow motion,lol! Also....when you think more about hunting than homework and those papers due the next day.

Re: How many of you ladies... Alisha, I got a pair of these black Lacrosse winter boots last year and they worked at keeping my feet warm while hunting which was a first. They have a thick felt-like removable lining and a waterproff nylon upper. You may want to look for boots similar to that, or at least look for boots designated for winter with thick linings.

Re: Why did I go and get a job at a college??? I am working custodial at my college right now then when school starts, I'll be working my custodial work-study job which is cleaning bathrooms in the library!:-)
