Got mine taken care of about two weeks ago. I haven't decided if I'm going to get a muzzleloader tag or not this year.

Due to finances beeing a little tight, I'm only doing fall plots this year. I was wanting to re plant my clover plot this year, but it will have to do for one more year. It's about 60% clover now.

Seems like it's been to dry around here. Temps have been good, but we've had no moisture in almost three weeks. I searched a few of my better spots last weekend when I pulled a few stands, and came up empty. I usually soak them in saltwater for an hour or two, them split them and rinse them off. They are great fried, but I also like to sautee them in butter and onions.

We got home late from dinner so I missed most of it. I did catch the main event though. I could'nt believe Hendo lost to Shields. He's usually pretty solid, but besides the first round he pretty well got dominated by Shields. StrikeForce is not near as organized or as well run as the UFC. We went to the St. Loius fights last year and it was pretty well a cluster, even though there were a few decent fights.

Yep, if you like short track racing Madhouse is a great show. I've missed a few episodes because it's on so late here. If you like racing shows check out Dirt Knights coming to Versus in January. It's kinda the same as Madhouse, only it follows USMTS dirt modifieds. Back on track here, my other favorites are Deadliest Catch, Ultimate Fighter, Two and a Half Men, and Ghosthunters.

I used to go to South Dakota every year. Talk about a blast! I've missed the last two years since finances have gotten a little tighter. I do manage to hunt at a state park once or twice a year, but they are all released birds. After hunting in SD for so many years, the state park hunt just isn't as fun as it used to be.

Yep, there's been two people killed around here in the last few weeks from rolling over their atv's. If you're going to be hot rodding at all make sure to wear your lid.

I shoot a combo league, where we shoot DART( same as techno hunt) one week and 3-d pop up's the next week. I don't always agree with the kill zone locations on the DART, and once in a while an arrow won't register when it hits. It is good practice though and pretty addictive. I actually enjoy the pop ups a little more, and usually score better.

That's strange. The shop I go to stocks at least one bow of the whole line for people to shoot. They actually sell quite a few Mission bows.

Did anyone catch it last night? " Big Country" and Kenny Florian handled their business in "Fight Night Live" before TUF started. It looks like there's a lot of talent in the middle weights this season, and there should be some darn good fights. Tito Ortiz still acts like a chump.

I know we have a few MMA fans on here, so I'm gauging if there is any interest in a discussion thread for the new season of "The Ultimate Fighter". Fight Night and the new TUF season starts up Wednsday! Liddell and Ortiz are the coaches....I wander if this could lead to "The Ice Man" fighting again.:gunsmilie: I won't miss an episode! Everybody feel free to chime in!
