I've been watching every show since season 1. It won't be the same without him on there. I wonder if his boys will keep the operation going.
-
I have to say ,I was impressed with her ARCA debut. I hope she does well, but this race will be a whole lot different than the ARCA race was.
-
I haven't had a chance to get out looking yet either. Most people that hunted the late antlerless season around here were seeing quite a few half racks and even some that had already shed both sides, so they should be out there. It will probably be a couple of weeks before i can out and look.

Interesting. High Country has acually made some solid bows the last few years. I almost bought an HC Iron Mace before I got a deal on my Mission.
-
The Mud Grapplers are a mean tire! I doubt you would get more than 20,000 miles out of them though. I had a set of 33" Terra Grapplers on a 2000 Dodge I had. They were a solid all terrain tire...good in snow, decent in mud. I actually entered into a mud bog at a fair and finished 4th out of 15 trucks. The three trucks that beat me all had Swampers. You should be able to get 35,000+ miles out of them. They just don't look as cool.

Actually, that's a pretty good price for those tires and wheels. The place I bought my stuff from has those wheels in chrome listed at $237 and the 33" MT Baja Claws at $267, and $100 for the leveling kit. Sounds like you're getting a pretty good deal!
-
Sweet! That should look nice....them wheels are sharp. Where did you decide to buy the goodies from?

I would say about the oldest as far as cd's i own, would be The Doors.
-
Nice! Congrats on the new bow! Mission is a pretty nice piece. I shoot a Journey and it doesn't have any hand shock, but is a little on the heavy side.

I usually like to keep my spots to myself until I get some meat in the freezer. After that I hook up my hunting buddies. It's pretty rewarding for me to put a good buddy in one of my stands and have him bag a deer. I do have certain rules for hunting my stands, so nobody gets too sloppy when they're there.

Nice! I think you'll be pretty happy with the results. One place you may want to check out is dodgetalk.com. They have a ton of forum info on everything from lifts and tires to engine and body mods specifically for Dodges.

Happy belated birthday Wimpy!

I keep my leftover seed in the basement, and have planted it 2 or 3 years later, and still had a high germination rate. I would think it would be fine as long as it hasn't been exposed to any extreme heat for too long.
-
Yea, roughly about that. All this would be about $2900, but like I mentioned earlier, you can get decent money out of your factory wheels and tires. One thing to keep in mind also is that if you don't install it yourself, labor is going to be fairly high. I put mine on myself in a day and a half in my garage, but I have done a few lift kits and have a few specialty tools. Another option is a 3" body lift. They have a Performance Accesories kit listed at $388 and it includes bumper brackets so it still looks good. These are a little easier to install, but will still probably take 7 or 8 hours. You could fit a set of 33" tires on without any clearance issues. This could probably be done with tires and wheels for $2000. If your going to have to pay someone to install it then a leveling kit may be the way to go, just be careful when in 4 wheel drive because, like I said before, you're c.v. joints in the front axle will break due to the steeper angle. I became a pro at changing them on a Chevy I had due to this issue. For a street truck that doesn't go off road much and doesn't get abused a 2" leveling kit and some nice 33 inch tires will do fine.
-
Looks like prices went up a bit since I did I mine 3 years ago. They have the lift listed at $1200 now, some decent 17" wheels are around $150 each, and some 35" Pro Comp AT's or Mickey Thompson ATZ's are around $260/tire.
-
I would not get 20's simply because of the price of the tires alone. I had thought about keeping the factory wheels on mine and just buying some 35's, but tires alone were about $400 a piece. I got the new 17's with tires, mounted and balance, for around $1400 ($350 a piece) all total from topguncustomz.com, and I think the lift kit was around a grand. Pretty sad when you can get tires and aluminum wheels both for 17's cheaper than you can get just tires for the 20's.

Here's a pic of my '02. I put a 5" Rough Country suspension lift, 17X10 Mickey Thompson wheels and 35" Mickey Thompson MTZ tires on it. All together i had about $2500 in it, and actually sold the factory wheels and tires for $600 so it really cost me about $1900. I bought everything from Top Gun Customs and did the work myself. Unfortunatley I had to sell it last spring. I have actually put a lift on every truck i've ever had since I was 16, with exception of my current ride. If you're on a budget a leveling kit or body lift will work fine. The only issue with a leveling kit on a torsion suspension is that it puts you're c.v. axles at more of an angle, and if you use the 4 wheel drive much it will cause them to fail prematurely. You shouldn't have too many problems if you drive it normal and keep it on the road.(which I tend to not do.) A suspension lift kit includes brackets to keep all of the steering and suspension in closer spec. to what it was from the factory, so the ride and handling stay pretty much the same, with the exception of the higher center of gravity. Let me know if you need anything man, this stuff is kinda my thing....hence my screen name.:turned:

LOL. Favre was the Vikes best chance to go after a super bowl. If Tavaris Jackson were the qb I don't think the Vikes would have even been in that game with a chance to move on to the super bowl. Say what you want, but Favre had as solid of a season as you can ask for. Besides that the Vikes had plenty of other chances to put points on the board and just didn't get it done.

Questions about a Browning Shotgun
MUDRUNNER replied to BrotherBadger's topic in Shotguns & Accessories
I would shop around ebay and gunbroker to see if the barrel you want is out there and what the prices are. I have remington 1100 I was going to turn into a sweet slug gun. I wanted to replace the stock and forearm with composites and add a rifled barrel, but by the time I would have it all set up it would've actually cost me more than a new slugger with all that stuff already on it. -
Nice pics! He's a handsome little guy. We had some issues with one of our kids being constipated and just switched up formulas and that seemed to work fine.
-
Happy birthday Randy! Hope you have a good one!

Go Vikes! Man, they were on it yesterday. The bewildered look on Romo's face through the whole second half was priceless...poor guy didn't know what to think.LOL If the Vikes play as well as they did yesterday next Sunday, the Saints are going to have their hands full.

I'm not hunting this weekend, but a few guys in our group are. I'll be there for moral support and a few hands of poker. My buddy bowhunted one of my stands last weekend and seen 12 deer, one was a 1 1/2 old buck that had shed both sides. Looks like the cold weather broke just in time for you boy's still hunting.

No big surprise. A lot of Cards fans have been pretty bitter with Big Mac for the last few years. I think now that he's the Redbirds hitting coach he wanted to come clean and get it out of the way before spring training starts.
