  1. Always sounds like a good time when this guy named Tim shows up:D. Come on guys post some pics...We know you took 'em. I'll get my time with Tim when he comes down state to the Suffern, NY show.
  2. Great story Steve, cool goat too. I love those hooks. Memories made and friendships strengthened. Congrats.
  3. How about "The Deer Doctors" or The UnDEERtakers. 2LUNG crew, Blood Trail Bandits, "pic a spot gang" Just throwing a few out there. I was up at my deer camp all weekend. Saw only does and a lot coyote scat. I shot 2 crows early this morning, as soon as the rain broke; then it got real humid. I checked all my tree stands and I packed it in. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Anthony
  4. Sorry guys I have not checked in sooner:rolleyes:. Looks like we have a great team and I am looking forward to this coming season. I will have to compete with my son Joe(Squirrelhunter91) for the good bucks back here...He is on team#2. We have seen some good ones too. We are waiting for them to get out of velvet...real soon. Our bow season open October 18th Do we have a name for our team yet?
  5. I agree Tim can stand alone. He is very personable and his energy is as good as any big time hunting personality out there. Also, as a fellow New Yawker He gets my vote.
  6. Very cool Steve...Congrats. I did notice that arrow wrap also Chris;) Help from above is right:)
  7. Always a fun day when the AR comes out:) Nice pics. The AR is how I introduced my boys to centerfires.
  8. That is a nice goat there Steve. Love those hooks! Congrats! Hey...is'nt that THE knife he fought off that vicious blacktail with ? Eh? I'd love to see some of the camp footage on a Realtree DVD:)

    9-11

I seen it up close, as it happened. I don't ever want to feel that way again. God bless all that were lost that day and bless the families that were torn apart from that cowardly act. I get teary and angry just thinking about that day. God Bless America...Never forget.
  10. Good Luck at the Dr's bud.
  11. Looking forward to the stories and the pics. Congrats Steve. Way to go.
  12. Prayers out to you right away Steve.
  13. I was out on my deck at my hunting cabin over the weekend and I saw this critter under one of my apple trees. Pop! The .22mag at 60yards. The Remington 32grV-Max performed flawlessly. No exit, maximum energy transfer. Upon inspection of this chuck, I see it has gotten lucky once before. It had what was left of a snare trap cable around it, that it must've chewed through and freed itself on someone else's trap set. The cable was causing a infection as you can see. It was a fat one too. Coyote bait for trapping season...in the freezer it goes. I guess it ran out of luck:D
  14. This is a living story that keeps getting better all the time. Congrats to Leo and Canuck2 on the goats. 50 yards! Nice shootin;) and some real beautiful pics too.
  15. Y'all sure know how to make someone wish they were there:). What a incredible time you guys are having. The pics are great and stories even better. Keep 'em coming and good luck guys!
  16. Nothing like seeing animals while on stand. Good Luck and get a good one:).
  17. I was thoroughly impressed with her speech. She spoke of a few issues which are important to me. Religion, guns, energy independence with new sources, anti corruption and defense of OUR great country. Her charisma is appealing to many. The democraps do have something to worry about. Sarah Palin is the perfect secret weapon the republicans need.
  18. Go get 'em Tim. Thats some menu on hand. Good Luck.
  19. Sorry for your loss Steve. Glad to hear them speed goats are fallin'. Congrats Joseph and I'm glad Luke got to go too:)
  20. Prayers for Mom and Dad. Hold tight and take care of them.

    Funny deer signs

Its not hard at all to get Non resident tags in NY at all...you just have to pay. Non res big game $110. Well, my sons who can hunt deer and I get tags to take about 5 deer a year. We always take at least 3 does back here and the best bucks we have taken have been from these woods. Bow only. Let me remind you that I live about 40 miles north from NYC. Suburban hunting is not like any other hunting you have done before. Horns blowing, garage doors opening and closing, kids playing and screaming, dogs barking, school bus air brakes all over. Not the peaceful hunt most of us look for. Every morning when I am in a tree in those woods, I can hear the national anthem playing in a elementary school about 1/2mile away. Yes... I stand and take my hat off There is good hunting here, but with all the bunny huggers around us it makes for a interesting drag.
