But Weds. night was the 3D league banquet...finished 2nd out of 3 ladies that finished the whole league...6 originally started, wish more women would get into it. Anyway the part that I was/am pumped about was after the top woman and top 4 or 5 guys had a shoot out, they had a shoot out with the pop-up buck. I joined in on that and guess who won, against the guys!!? Won a $25 certificate but I think I was more excited I held my own against the top guys there and kicked their butts with the pop-up buck, which is no easy feat! It started out whoever stayed in the 8 ring moved on, then it was 10 ring, then it was closest to the 11 ring (I was in the 11), then it was whoever was closest to a sticker placed on the target, which we did not know where until the target came up. Well I nailed the sticker, and beat out the guys! So to all you ladies out there, go out and have fun!:rockon:

Anyone else shooting 3D during the spring/summer? If not, I recommend it, it is a blast!:cool2: Shot a 294 this past weekend on a 30 target course and tonight find out where I finished at the winter 3D league. Will be sending my bow out soon for a tune and new strings. Plan to go to a Rhinehart R100 in June...looks like fun!

Get a hip quiver! I just got one, used it the first time this weekend, loved it!!! Great to hold your arrows and carry some extras!

I have a checking/debit card through my bank. Have never used it but do you think that would help by using it? This is what I get for trying to be a debt free person, duh,lol

I just applied for my first credit card. I have no debts, all my student loans were paid off a few years ago, I have nothing I owe, I work full time. Well I call today and apparently I was unapproved/denied!!?? This is for Discover....Now I have to wait for a letter explain why.... Well does anyone have any insight? I just don't get it....what a pain....

Check Cabelas...We got a Mackenzie I think it was from there few years back on sale....they pull out very easy, but you just want to shoot field points it them or you'll have it shot up before long. Look for one you can get a replaceable shooting area for.

Guess it depends what kind of ammo you are looking for but I picked up 2 boxes of Winchester 20 ga turkey shells at Walmart without a problem the other day.

I'm still here about every day but lots of regulars are gone....The development of FB, Twitter,etc... have pulled quite a few away I think..

Got word my first deer, the archery buck, should be ready in a few weeks! So excited,lol! When I go to shoot at my 3D league, I almost drool looking at the deer mounts on the walls, it's exciting to think I will have my own :-D
